You know your driving an Ex when you drive your 2000, v8 Ex into downtown Charleston, SC during a summer thunderstorm with all the streets flooded to pick up your daughter from work because her husband dose not think he can do it with their Mosda POS , Uh Protoget, and watch a Camry float by in your wake and your wife says we are keeping this thing no matter what gas costs! All I could do was smile and say "yes Dear"
You know you drive an Excursion when you are shopping for a new travel trailer and the salesman that saw you drive up never bothers to show you the lightweight line.

You park and get out to walk up to the atm because you cant reach the buttons.
You are the only thing with 4 wheels at the big rig pumps at your local truck stop.

LOL, I've never experienced the ATM thing, but I witnessed it the other day and laughed my *** off... I was at the bank and a guy comes up to the drive-up window (the closest one, right next to the building) in this ridiculously tall dodge ram.. the bottom of his window was at least 3 1/2 feet above the bottom of the teller's window.. and he still conducted his business through the window, with his entire body flailing out just to reach the drawer...
I watched the entire thing from inside the bank at the teller's window.. Seriously, one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

I remember when I was looking at TT's and the salesman asked the owner what I can tow. The owner looked out the window and saw the Ex and said "anything on the lot".
You know you drive an Excursion,,,
When you get your 99 F250/CC/4x4/7.3 STUCK with a load of wet oak,
AND you keep loading the oak on, AFTER you call the wife to bring "Wilbur" down (Wilbur is the name of our Ex, named from the pig in charlottes web!) I had her get in my F250, put it in nuetral and "just follow me!" I put the Ex in 4-LO,,,, tightened the strap and let the black smoke flow!! That's some Pig!!!
You know you drive an ex when while at the fuel pump, 3 to 4 cars fill up and leave and your finally full.
And the fuel attendant can't believe that when you come back up to the window all you need is a receipt and don't need any change out of a $100!! (And you tell her that it actually wasn't even empty. hehe)
