Almost $230 dollars to fill up when diesel topped $5.10 per gallon.
You know you drive an Excursion when diesel prices are that high and people around you stare and try to guess how much it takes to fill up...
FYI
Last month I went on a 2500 mile trip in the northwest from the San Francisco peninsula into Nevada, to Montana, to Washington, Oregon, and home.
Most of the time I paid 2.80 to 2.90 a gallon. Here at home it is running 3.20 to 3.25. And going up.
You know you drive and psd excursion when you know you are getting good miledge - but still have to wipe the tears from your eyes when you "Fill 'er up".
When you go to the full service pump and leave the engine running and the attendant starts to fill your tank, walk over to you and ask you to shut it off because he can't keep up.

I've seen the stickers, but I figure if the cops around here do it too, they're not going to say anything.

Don't tell anyone but I also ripped the tags off my pillows :-)
When the old guy at the gas station asks you if your truck is fuel injected or carbureted and you reply with “Neither it has a toilet bowl, I gotta flush it to go”.
