Think we can go for 1,000,000?
OK, everyone. I've got to tell you guys why Bill will never let this thread die. The reason Bill wants to get to the 1,000,000 th post, is, he will get a brand new used '03 6.0 King Ranch for the mile stone of starting a thread that has that many post. Congrats Bill, and I know how you will be to get the 6.0.
Actually he has that inline turboed but that's not the point. It sounded to me you was saying any thing manual will do the trick. I'm trying to look his tranny up I don't its as bad as you say. Just for my benifit.
My comment about the t5 manual was in addition to that I know the differnce that I've used a few. In no way am I compairing it to mine or any other truck.

I am saying any manual will work since this is a comparison in the super duty section and all of our manuals will have the low 1st gear. Once you start comparing 150's or cars or anything other than what we are comparing here, that argument isn't valid because most of the time there isn't much difference in the gear ratios from an auto to a manual. I would also be willing to bet his truck has a 3.55 or 3.73 rear end since it is a 150.
I know you aren't comparing the tranny in a mustang to a tranny in a truck. What I am saying is that the difference in gear ratios from a mustang auto to a mustang manual is barely noticeable. Same for the difference in a 150 automatic and manual. There is a slight difference, but not much at all. There is a HUGE difference between the 1st in my 5.4 and the 1st in a TS or 4r100.

The way its worded you would have lost that bet, but i'm willing to concider what is meant. his rearend 9" w a 4:?? gearset. i cant remember what it actually is. no it did,nt come like that. my brother in law was out playing in it and it ran the pickup tube got clogged up and stack 2 bearings. my other my other brother in law rebuilt the engine took the rearend out of a like model f250 and added a turbo. me and my brother painted it for him. we all did this for fathers day.
