Johnny said he saw 17 v10's up there. Whether or not they live there or were just passing through doesn't matter. We have two major interstates that cross each other where I live too, so I see all sorts of trucks going through here. Just because they don't live here doesn't mean I didn't see them. I know what I-70 is too. I haven't towed anything there, but I spent a few weeks in Highlands Ranch with work and did some sight seeing while I was out there.
From the thesaurus Synonyms: lie
From the dictionary
fib
An insignificant lie.
Yes, phillips, there is a difference between a fib and a lie...A fib, as you found out is an insignificant lie; aka "little white lie" and a lie, is a lie, is a lie. Little Johnny fibbed, and you called it a lie. Bad phillips.
Is your pea-sized brain wrapped around any other words, or do you just float through life verisimilitude to most, until they scratch the surface and see the real you?

English was my minor...
If you were an English minor then you would know that a synonym is a word that means the same. A synonym for fib is lie, which means that they can be used interchangeably. Whether insignificant or not, it is still a lie. Try convincing a court that you were merely fibbing instead of lying if you were testifying under oath and see how far that gets you.....

The severity of meaning between lying and fibbing is huge. If you're too dumb to understand that, then it's no wonder you fail to comprehend anything else on this thread. Before your buddy Krewat tries to say I called you dumb; I didn't. I said IF.
Well just so everyone knows.......my truck was just hauled into a repair shop on the back of a tow truck. Now I am sure you all know how I feel right now, so go ahead and poke your fun at me. LMAO
Actually my problem was the clutch and starter, so it could have happened to any of us with a hand shaker. LOL
It is nice to see everyone is getting along in here still. LOL

Now where is my popcorn?
Had the same experience last Friday, but the shop wanted $4500 for differential repairs, so I rented F550 and hauled my truck home.
The pinion gears and bearings on ebay are for $300.
If you ask what that has to do with V10 vs PS? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

No wonder you think your 5.4 can beat a V10.
If Johnny said he saw 17 v10's and you said he didn't, then you are questioning his honesty. You can call it a fib or whatever you want to, but the simple fact is that you are saying he is not telling the truth(that's what us non english majors/minors call lying).
Let me spell this out for you again. I said my 5.4 can out pull certain v10's in certain situations(not all or even most situations). Take mine and Mike's again. He has a 2v automatic with a 3.73 gear. That is not a good combination where I live because there are plenty of roads here that are worse than the ones he did his video on and most of them require you to start out from a stop. He has a more powerful engine but his gearing and tranny would keep it from reaching an rpm where it makes more power than my 5.4 on those roads. If we hit that same hill from a rolling start where he could get his rpms up then it would be laughable to compare my 5.4 to his v10. Cops here frown on taking a 25 mph rolling start through stop signs though.
I'm not sure if you know what a gear is, but they play a huge role in how well you get a load moving. Just for example, the gear spacing between your 1st and 5th is 2.4 (3.11-0.71) assuming you have an automatic. If you tried to pull out in 5th gear would it pull out as good as it does in 1st? The gear spacing between my 1st and Mike's 1st is 3.01(5.72-2.71). There is a bigger gap between mine and Mike's 1st gear than there is between your 1st and 5th and that doesn't even count the rear end gear. There is more to getting a load moving than how much low end torque or peak hp your engine has.
Considering there's only the 10, 40, 70, 80 and 90 that have any distance on them heading East to West, odds are some moron with a V10 would try to go the mountain route...lol

I never said you called Josh (or JL, or anyone else in this thread) a moron. Re-read what I typed. For an "english minor" you don't see to be able to read
