I want one. I'll wait the year until the bugs are worked out.
To me, I've physically seen them both. Yamaha made there own a-arms/skid componants. IMHO, they seem thinner and squeeked another 1" of travel out of it. That part really worries me. I've had no luck skid wise with the Phazer.

2nd Stroke......post a shot of your snowmavroomvroom up

That's awesome Brett. I believe the new viper chassis is based on the XF platform. I haven't compaired yet but IMHO you can't go wrong with the Cat chassis and Yamaha powerplants. I just worry about how Yami revamps the skid chassis. I've physically seen both and the tubing doesn't look the same to me. I wouldn't abandon Yamaha either way.
Racing for 10+ years on a YFZ450 platform and have NEVER DNF'd during a Moto or Practice. I have TONS of hours on my old 04 and my 07SE. Frame, however, i've broken twice on my 04 and twice now on my 07. Always right beside the welds. When Yamaha want's to test new products they should send them here. If it's going to break, i'll put it to the test And for the record i'm not talking ghost riding the thing into trees or off jumps to see what happens. By riding it.....hard

Evening guys, Grant, Morris, Sherm, Clint and Brett. Time to sit down with the wifey and watch our "Breaking Bad" Ya.....she got me hooked on that darn show now, soooooo good!! Couple more episodes of the last season and i guess she got the grand finale on DVD or something.
Speed Vision in the ManCave, no exceptions, for the record

2nd stroke, is your XF the 4-stroke turbo? I've been very tempted to get into a new ProClimb 4-stroke turbo.

ATV PRO, you'd really negative rep me if I expressed my true feelings about the Yamaha Phaser. I bought one for my wife back in winter of 2010/11. Took an incredible smack in the sack to get rid of the thing before I lost my mind. Reverse would never work, battery kept dying if it sat for 4 days in the garage without running, it was a fish out of water if it went off the trail into more than 4" of snow. Anyway, its down the road now, some guy in Manitoba bought it and was pleased as punch.

I'll stick with my 2011 RMK Assault... I know guys have some strong hatred for those sleds also, but it has put a smile on my face. Maybe in the middle of last season while it was in pieces in my garage, I may have had some ill feelings towards it...

Hey, anyone seen Sheldon lately? Haven't had a good argument with the guy in a long time!!

Heck no. Was only ribbin ya. I'd never do that, I gave you a REP point a couple days when I was on

Reverse not working was an update. Small washer needed behind main clutch.
Battery being dead, like anything, probably a short somewhere. OR yamaha's updated wiring harness.
Again, like all toys, if its a fish outa water off trail a simple suspension adjustment and you probably would have been happy. Mine's all stock suspension/track and i'm rarely on the trail.
I wish my wife would ride, your a lucky guy!! The Phazer is a perfect sled for any begginer out there. This will be my 4th season riding it and it's time for an upgrade Don't know why I didnt buy one years ago.
All 07's had there bugs. I made sure the one I bought (x race sled out of the USA hence the cooper #10 on it) was fully updated before I bought it. Things that weren't updated, my Local dealership took care of free of charge in 2010 just before the free updates from Yamaha ran out.

Honestly, I have no hate on for any sled. I love them all. I love the winter sport for the comrodary and friendly people you meet at the shacks. I did, however, witness 3 turbo cats burn to the ground last winter. One on Hwy 44 by the domo gas station. That was a scary one cause it was probably 75' away from the station

Morning Gent's. Have a safe and productive Friday

It's the 800ho, I'm still hooked on the lightness of 2 stroke

I don't think I would bother with a turbo, unless I was going to tune it.

does anyone make a replacement panel for the 67-72 Ford inside cab corner? Lots of cab corner replacements out there but seems like there's nothing for the the inner panel.

Likely you`ll have to make one if you can, I don`t know of any and finding a good used one is almost impossible around here.

Thanks, that was my suspension but I thought I'd take a shot in the dark. Probably have to get E-tek to help me with fabricating a pair.
