How many of you out there disconnected your battery cables after installing the cps? I didnt do it, but I am going to tomorrow. Reset the puter and fill up the tank.
Just to be on the safe side I set my program back to stock, started the engine a couple of times, disconnected batteries (needed cleaning anway), changed the cps (after comparing the two), reconnected the batteries, started a couple of times, and reinstalled the program.

I didn't, but I'll have a DP chip coming soon, so I'll have to do it then for sure. I think I probably would have been a good idea though, to reset the computer. I did several mods when I installed the CPS, and I think it would be a good idea to let the thing re-learn with the new parts installed.
Installed mine last night. I did notice less cranking time, but no real big other difference. Checking fuel mileage is not really possible, the average with bus stop and short trips the wife takes varries between 12 and 20. It might be quieter, or just a wishful ear.
Not yet. It's in the long range forcast though. I'm too busy scrapping for every little shred of info I can get on the "02 A springs I got with the V (package deal from a F250 takeoff).
I should finish all the suspension mods soon (springs, shocks, traction bars, ball joints if getting close, hubs if close) and move on to (in order) ccv, hpx, fuel return, harpoon, and the list goes on.
