How many of you have tried it? TDS has a long thread about it. I just got done replaceing mine with an OEM, but this has me curious. For those of you would have changed over to the 1807339c92, what differences have you noticed? Any better MPG?

I was wondering the same after doing an unsuccessful search.
His quote was: "CPS from the DT466 is giving most who try it about 1.5mpg. I've got it and love it. Smoother running, quieter, better power and better MPG."
I don't know if this is the same CPS that empiretc is talking about or not.
I'm trying to understand how changing the CPS can affect the MPG and the way the truck is running.
After some reading of other's results on the previously mentioned thread, I'm willing to give it a try.
Where can I get one? Auto parts store? Online?

Whats the differance between the 2? Is it just MPG,dos it last longer?
Is the differance noticable.
I quote Carnut57 from TDS "Joe, from what I can tell you should be able to use this CPS with any set up on our trucks. I even reinstalled my Big Hoss level-5 chip last night after running without it for almost 6 months. Runs great no issues at all. Part#1807339C92 is the one I use. "
I quote joediesle "
Put in the International CPS today, The trucks idles much smoother, also revs smmother thoughout the whole rpm range. Feel SOP like there is more tq in the lower rpm's, I need to drive more , this is the results I felt only driving about 15 min. "
Another Carnut57 quote"
The gentleman at Internation said that these sensors provide a stronger, cleaner signal than the stock ones. He said that radio noise etc. is part of the problem the new sensor helps to correct. What ever it does, I like it. "
I've been running one for just over 2 months now. It does in deed make a very noticable difference. The X runs a lot smoother and quieter. It has better low end power and I picked up about 1.5 MPG... a bit better than that towing my 9000 lb boat.
i've been following the thread over there also(i wish all the naysayers over there would leave that thread alone) and gonna try it also...
nobody is quite sure yet why it is better....some say:
timing advanced/ retarded
stronger magnet
and who knows what else....
also for the dt466 ih has been putting in a t444e cps... go figure. they should of just swapped em from the get go. among mpg improvements people also report better cold running trucks and quieter....
I ordered the new IHC CPS this evening from IHC. The parts guy sold it to me for $96.02 plus tax (if I promised to report back to him with the results). I hope it makes a slight improvement in the MPG, but if not, now I have 2 spare CPS's and one of the best engines ever made!!!!
