The 4.30's came in my new rearend from Jasper, and the front gears came from Precision Gear. My friend own the local shop he did all the ordering and installation.
Actually it is more fun more, because of foot most likely not. It will only go so far down. The highway is where I saw the milage go down which is mostly because I went for 1800@70 to 2100@70 and I like to drive 80-90 anyways.
It really just depends on yur driving habits. That was with my truck empty and the 35's really didn't impose any kind of load on the truck during highway driving.
Now with 37's you might see an increase in mileage, or it might stay the same.
My truck actually gained 1-2mpg during towing with the 4.30's.
im trying to find out info on th escmt power plus...I couldnt find it on their site, and I didnt have any luck searching for info here...also reference gearing, isnt this quite expensice, with parts and labo it has to be at least 1500 bucks per differential...

Power plus will be the same output on the 6.0L as the current scmt.
It will not be ready (on the Fords) for quite some time.
i do know how to pull a trailer sensibly, the problem i had was that i had seeping heads because they were warped and every time i would hit 75 mph the truck would overheat like crazy, and thats sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwllllllllyyyyyyyy accelerating. I have been pulling trailers since i got my license.... just a fyi. no hard feelings just sounded like a smart comment is all, and ive had enough frustration as i have 2 6.0 trucks and they are both pretty much junk, more problems than i even care to list lol. at least now i know what it feels like to get screwed good and proper

I have a 2005 PSD, and have read just about every page on this site and may have overlooked the answer. When I use the tow mode with the Superchip tuner do I still need to use the tow/haul mode on my gear shift.
Yes. You still need to use the tow/haul button on your gear shift. The tow safe mode on the tuner itself wont allow the truck to over fuel/time to exceed safe towing EGT limits. It has nothing to do with the tow/haul mode of engine braking, shift point control function of the transmission.

Actually this is incorrect.
The Tow/Haul button reverts the TCM (Transmission Control Module) to a different set of shift tables.
The 1704 tunes the standard shift tables AND the tow/haul shift tables independently, and with all three programs (so there are 6 different superchips shift patterns).
You should definitely use tow/haul when towing heavier loads, but it's not necessary for lighter loads.
