Lol...yes, I do actually need to upgrade to the 2000 deg pyro. The 1600 has been pegged a couple of times now, and past 1600 is probably in the range where you NEED to know your temp
How long does it take for the computer to learn the new program. For example, say i have it set on the highest setting, then the next morning i realize i need to tow 10k+ lbs. Would i be able to reinstall the stock tune that morning and then immediatly tow? Or would it have to go through a learning phase?

The tuning changes are immediate.
You can load tow and tow immediately.
It "learns" on a much smaller scale, like fine tuning the shift points, and this only takes a few minutes of driving.
Most people don't notice anything as it learns VERY quickly.
I've read a lot on here about EGT's and don't want to beat a dead horse, but I have a question. Is it sustained EGT's that cause problems or can short term peaks be deadly?
I have a Magnaflow turbo back, Bully Dog Outlook Monitor, and the Superchips programmer. In the high power tune the EGT's are at 1380 and climbing by around 80mph. That is at full throttle from a dead stop with no trailer. I let out of it before finishing the 1/4 due to seemingly high EGT's. Do I need to worry?

1380? IMO, not a chance. Back out when you get to 1600.
Just an update to people still trying to decide on a tuner or not. I have had my truck for just over 1 month now and have just under 3,000 miles now. No problems with the tuck at all. I have now made a 630 round trip twice. One in stock and one with the tuner set in the HP mode ( I am only trailering 4000 lbs). My results are as follows:
1. stock- there 13.7 mpg, back 13.3 mpg
2. HP tune- there 14.8 mpg, back 14.3
Also noted that going over hills was much easier on the vehicle and there was much less downshifting as well. Hope this helps if you are trying to make a decision.
Got my superchip tuner and installed it yesterday. WOW. I have an 05 with 315/70r17's(35's). I did not want to give it full throttle right at first. I rolled on to about 15mph and then WOT and I was able to spin the tires. I have it set on the economy mode. I want to put it on the HP mode, but am waiting for my gauges to come in. This thing is awsome. I only have 900 miles on it, but in two weeks, I am going to make a trip to Tahoe. I cant wait to get on the highway.
On another note, what would happen if I were to tow over 8000lbs in the econo mode?
Ok, I have had mixed reviews whether or not to regear. I hve talked to a few offroad shops and they say there is no need to regear. I have an 05 Superduty PSD 4x4 CC on 35" tires. I am thinking of going to 37". I do not have anything too heavy to tow, but I may be towing a 35' toyhauler sometimes. With the Superchip tuner, I have plenty of power.

Can you guys help me?
Do you have 4.10's or 3.73's right now?
If you have 3.73's, you NEED to re-gear.
You can get away with 4.10's, but its still not optimal.
A 35ft. toyhauler can weigh a pretty good amount. That being said 3.73's (stock) will be fine for occasional use. OTOH I never towed with the stock gears without being in HP mode (just never tried it).
I have 315/75/16's (35") on mine and I am running 4.30's in mine and love the way it tows with them.
With 37's I would consider 4.56 gears.
