Set your truck to stock, bring it to Ford and make sure your EBP sensor is ok.
In addition to this, call superchips for an RA number so they can look at it.

Nah.....

Really, the main problem is, few people FOCUS on their work (or anything) anymore. Lazy minds do what they need to do to get by.

I think Zig Ziglar the Texan put it this way:

"If you are at work thinking about what you want to do when you are off, and you are at home with the family worrying about needing to be at work, then you 'aint never nowhere' "

Would I have other problems if the EBP sensor was bad? The truck drives great other than that. Thanks for the help.

I have a 2005 f350 Diesel, 9000 miles with superchip installed. I am now in tow mode, but this problem was in economy mode also. The emissions light,(the little motor sign) has been coming on. It went on last week and then went away when I changed modes, it came back on today. Also I have been hearing some strange sounds coming from the transmission area. Sounds like a scraping noise, only while accelerating uphill. Anyone else had any problems like this? Could either one be coming from the chip installation? Next week I will set it to stock and take it into Ford.

Just in case you don't know - that SCMT will also read the codes from your check engine light. If you get a code you don't know what it means you can search this site or post it - someone here will know.

OK........

got the tuner last night.

went straight for HP mode, due to the posts here, seems it has the best shifting, and drivability.......all i can say, is WOW!

worth the money for sure........cannot believe how smooth the power is. just pulls and pulls........ love the 4k shift too...Who would have thought a 7500lb 4x4 with 35" tires, and only a 3.73 gear could roast em from a dead stop all the way into second.....

I need some traction bars to to curbthe wheelhop!!!

thanks vic AND CREW for this superb product.

Now, tune in next week for milage updates!

Thumbs up

HI everyone! Been looking at the site for sometime now. All this talk about the tuner. I had to have me one. Got it today and programed it. {HP mode} I couldn't believe how much better my truck felt. Instead of shifting to fast like before. It seems perfect now, just like I like it. I hope it stays that way. O, I forgot to mention how fast my truck is now. wow! Thanks all

Mattsf250 - try the tow safe mode when you get a chance and let me know what you think. I think it runs better than the other two settings personally, just wondering if anyone else shares that feeling.

Does anyone know if a new tune is necessary after the FICM recall?

Set the truck for the stock and have the recall performed.

When you plug the tuner back in, it will let you know if you need an update.
It is vital that you do it this way so the tuner will save your new files if they are unknown.
