Unless, that is, you want the lift. If so, then these parts are a unique way to offer lift without affecting ride comfort, unlike adding more leaves or stiffer leaves with higher arches.
But they COULD effect front drive drive shaft, steering geometry, and emergency/evasive handling.
Well, the parts truck we dismantled was completely assembled with this setup including front driveshaft and all. It was a on road work truck. Im not sure what to do yet. I'm running out of daylight. I need the truck in the morning and I still need to swap my steering gear and rear blocks. I don't dislike how tall it is. It would be harder to work on except that I'm getting a topside creeper. It will sit level with the rear blocks in. The other truck did. Is it really 'unsafe?' not sure how I feel about this yet.

I wouldn't call it unsafe. I'm amazed you got the track bar in there though. Usually 3" will put the leaf springs and track bar in such a bind that it takes a come-a-long to get the bolt in.
If you don't hate it, run it. I've seen lots of variations of those lifts work just fine with 35+ inch tires. Usually they come with new purpose-built front hangers though...not add-on stuff.

Nevermind...I see no track bar. You'll likely need a come-a-long.

Brand new track bar was already on the parts truck and we had no problem taking it off. Maybe it's a new, longer track bar. I don't know yet. I'll figure it out. Right now I got to get my steering gear changed out. I have to take the old one off first and go get the new one.

I say do what you need to get back in the road for now. Then re-evaluate and plan for next weekend if needed to address some issues. As long as it’s safe then even the 🤢 Carolina squat 🤮 will be ok to deal with for a week.
Personally I would start with changing the steering gear as it’s absolutely necessary. Then check how that track bar fits. Any issues with it would push me to remove those adapters. It looks to be a fairly quick job. (Easy to say from my warm chair right?) Rear blocks can be driven as is and put on anytime so those can be last.
Are the input splines on the steering gear different for different year models? I bought my new steering gear and installed it, pitman arm works great. But I cannot get the actual rod coming off of the steering wheel to go on to the splines of the input shaft. Of course the bolt is already removed but no matter what I do I cannot get it to go on. Are there different spline counts on different year models?
Brad and I messed around with his steering gear for about 10 minutes before we were able to line up the flat portions. Even though I had replaced a couple, this got us stuck for a moment.
I took the steering gear back off and went back to the store and compared it to my old one. They are exactly the same. What I don't understand is that the flat spot is right where the split and bolt are correct? That's where it came off of online.
Going purely off memory here... If the bolt is straight up and down vertical, the flat spot is parallel to the ground and 90° from the bolt.
I'll see if I can verify this and find a picture.
EDIT: Maybe I'm misremembering... What I am seeing online is the bolt bridges the flat spot.
EDIT again: grab a bright light and lift up on the steering shaft to look down at the coupler. You will need to stick your head down in the engine bay a bit. This will definitively tell you the orientation of the flat spot. That is how Brad and I figured his out.
I thought it was supposed to settle down after I put weight on it. The front of this truck is so freaking tall. The top of the grill is level with my neck. Are you sure this is a stock height front end? I am doing a serious Carolina squat right now. My truck is reminding me of those people that walk around with their pants hanging below their butt.

I personally prefer hanger drop lifts on these trucks, if you actually want to lift it. Because it keeps stock ride and geometry.
Also curious if there are any more bolts that secure that front hanger drop besides the large bolt that goes through the spring hanger hole, seems like it would be prone to some slight rotational movement, the rust around the bottom leads me to believe it was moving around a bit..
I think your still going to be about 1" nose high still with the rear block. Dont forget to torque the rear ubolts again once you put the truck on the ground on its own weight then again after some miles.

Can you snap a pic of the track bar bracket? Wondering if it has an equivalent drop to match the hangers.
Unfortunately my track bar bracket does not have a drop on it. It is not going to work. The track bar will not reach no matter what we do. We tried pulling each spring up to its respective frame to squat the suspension which did nothing, turn the wheel every witch away, still didn't get close enough and then tried pulling the passenger side towards the driver side frame, almost got close enough but not quite. Tried to fiddling with the jack on and off and everything. Could not get the track bar mounted. Can you buy a drop track bar mount? To be honest I kind of dig the lift. I just need some big tires.
