SPE MOTORSPORT 6.7L POWERSTROKE COLD SIDE REPLACEMENT HOSE- FITS 2017-2021

I just recently found this on SPE's website and wanted to pass along. This is a heavy duty 5 ply silicone hose to use with the factory throttle body adapter in the newer trucks.

Here is another nice product from SPE designed to increase longevity and durability, just ordered one for a 2016.

Oh yeah... thanks for posting. I have one put away in case the factory plastic return line fitting breaks next time I do a filter set change, which is coming up in about 5k miles or so with next oil change. I even bought the German made fuel line off EBay if or when I have to use the SPE fitting.

If anyone wants the link for the line, let me know.

The 17-22 version would have been nice if they would have made it with a 90* angle instead of coming straight off the back. I'd be afraid of it kinking, or worse, the nipple wearing a hole through the line at the bend.

Here's my spare parts to fix the return line fitting. I bought the spare OEM fitting first. Anyone wants links, I can post them up.

I bought the line on EBay.

This is the thread sealant i bought. It's different from the sealant SPE recommends.

This is the stuff SPE recommends for their return fitting threads.

What does the brain trust here say?

It doesn't matter as it hasn't been assembled yet, they are just in there loose, with thread sealant. Glad I noticed though... doh!

Nice, thanks for the links! I don't understand why they don't make that replacement part with a 90* angle though... I did bookmark that site though. It looks like they have quite a bit of stuff!

Just installed one on a 2016, the one I got had o-rings on the fuel line fittings. For the small plug I used some fancy liquid thread sealant, forget the name but it did the trick.

Didnt measure but it appears the SPE fitting is longer than the factory piece. Had to remove the bracket for the S&S DPK and cut a portion out of it to clear the fuel line. Not a big deal plus I gave it a little extra clearance.

I have the kit just in case. The SPE is definitely longer than the OEM piece for sure.

Yes, the fittings have o-rings on them but I'm thinking overkill like I usually do. That's why I posted here for more guidance. Did you put something on the o-rings to lube them? You didn't happen to get a pic did you?

I did not lubricate the o-rings, thought about it but ended up not doing it. I will get some pictures of it plus the bracket modification.
