Private Cash Offer. You can go online and request a brochure and Ford might send you a private rebate. If you don’t receive one, you can just keep requesting a brochure until hopefully you receive a PCO. When you go to a Ford dealer, the PCO will show in their system under your name. The amount varies. I’ve gotten them before just randomly without requesting anything also. Of course, the random ones only come when I’m not in the market for a vehicle...
Thanks for this information. Just signed up at Ford.com. We are also Costco members so maybe when the 2020's arrive, we'll get a good chunk off retail.
Gotcha, doc fees here are $80-85. Only other fee I've seen are for the new temp plates, aprox.$30.
Soooooo..... are you saying that Costco’s$1000-$1500 below invoice is pretty much the best deal out there? I just learned about it myself last night and started using it today lining up a 2020 order at a dealership that Costco referred me to you about 10 miles away from my house.

Lol, that depends, only you can determine that based on your talks with dealers. Based on the info in this thread, if the X plan is invoice and Costco is $1k+ bellow invoice on a 2020, then for me it obvious. In my case I picked up an in stock 19 at $2500 under invoice plus rebates etc.. The best quote i was given on an order (2019) was $1500 under invoice. It's kinda early to know what the best pricing out there is on a 2020 order.
I never actually contacted Costco, the salesman I spoke with about an order opened a book and told me what the discount was at the time.

I went on Costco‘s website last night and it stated anywhere from $1000 to 1250 in my area. I see some others stated that it goes up to 1500 in different areas. There simply is nothing on any lot that is close to my liking for me to buy. I definitely do not want a double sunroof among other options that I do not care for. I have ordered my last two F350’s and I could not be happier with the results. Thank you again for your advice.
I put together a comparison spread sheet of 10-speed vs. 6-speed transmissions. I also included the GM specs for reference.
In addition I added calculations for the final drive ratio for various axels. Note that with the 10R80 ratios the final drive ratios are similar to the 6-speed TorqShift with the next numerically lower ratio which are highlighted in the same color. So if you get a 2020 F-450 10-speed with a 4.30 axel, it will be about the same as a 2019 6-speed with a 4.10 axel. I hope this is helpful in deciding which axel ratio to select. Note that the 3.73 is not available with a Diesel but I put it in for comparison purposes.
I have a 17 platinum, and no way I’d consider any of the other brand options. It’s not a truck that I have to really “go back to.’’ I actually use my dually to tow heavy so leveling is a dumb option. Lowering the trucks is just dumb, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess.
YEP, just ordered my F 450, NOT because I wanted it but because I needed it, I got it in King Ranch because I wanted that!
Congrats 17 Oaks you will love the turning radius!
I gots to ask FORD, why the football field turning radius on the F 350's . EVEN my wife noticed it and hated it. Can't make a u Turn on a 4 lane road...
I'm glad that you found it useful. I will update this once we get the specs on the 10R140. it was helpful to me in deciding between a F-350 dually and a F-450 which is limited to a 4.30 axel. I am upgrading to a bigger 5th wheel and I like the idea of the bigger brakes on the 450 but was concerned about fuel mileage when not towing.
Does anyone know any info about the tonneau covers/retractable cover they mention will be available from the factory on the order guide? I'm guessing we will have to wait until the online build tool is updated to find out more.
***nevermind I see it is a weatherguard brand on the order guide.
The retractable is a Retrax Pro MX...Ford branded. For has been selling these in the accessory catalogue for a period of time....i saw them at the dealer a few months back. I’m on my second Retrax MX Pro and plan on an American Truck Cover (American Work Cover) with the 20” toolbox on the 20. I believe the folders are Ford Branded Bakflips with upgraded hardware (metal rather than plastic).
This thread is getting a little long so hopefully there are few folks who will still look at it. A question for you guys who have gotten serious on the orders. It may have been somewhere on this thread or elsewhere but I think I read where the hook up for the optional trailer mounted camera is being moved from the bumper to the bed. Right? Hope that is true. Also, I'm wondering if it will still be just a back up camera and not an observation camera that can be used going down the road. I think the new GM HD's will have that option and hoping Ford matches. Probably not since this is more of a refresh vs. a redo.
Also, when going thru the order guide the seating info for both the King Ranch and Platinum does not mention anything about massaging seats. I'm wondering if that has be eliminated for 2020. If so, the wife will be disappointed.

1) dunno, did not get the option because its a hard wire and I will add my own with WiFi which will be on all the time giving me the rear view of load and traffic, which Ford does not when driving...wish they did
2) I HOPE it been eliminated and the go back to the seat in the 15/16 King Ranch which made a Lazy Boy PALE by comparo... Never used the massaging seats on my '17, '19 or my 20 when it comes in.
