Tried to do a build compare of a 2020 to my 19 but couldn't do an exact build. I didnt see the ultimate trailer cams, dual extra heavy duty alternators and it wouldn't let me select the 3.55 locking rear without choosing some HD packages. Anyway, I was able to compare base MSRP, on a CCSB 4x4 Lariat f250 the base MSRP difference is $460.
My whole goal of getting an XLT was to get away from all the crap that’s given me problems on my F-150. I don’t want Sync3, or the horrible vacuum 4x4 system. I also don’t want the lane-keeping nannies. Even if the rest of the truck doesn’t increase in MSRP over the 2019, $2K for the 7.3 and $4k for the Tremor package seems nuts.
Guess I’ll keep my F-150 for now...I didn’t need more truck and at least I know where I stand with it.
Still cannot wait to hear the first reports of the 7.3...

Comparing base MSRP of an F-250, looks like a Lariat starts at $460 more than a 2019. Platinum is up $2600, must include some things that were optional before since the final price with options ended up about $700 higher on the 2020 for my particular configuration. Add in an extra $1375 ($10,495) for the diesel above 19 prices, or $2045 for the 7.3 depending on your preferences.
My dealership, West-Herr Ford in Hamburg NY is simply the best.
SOOOO easy. Place and order by giving codes from the guide or by simple description and they send you back the order confirmation. Want to change something? No problem. They can always go back into Concepts and change it. Once the order is locked, that can not happen, but it usually sits for a month before Ford locks it for final assembly. I’ve done it a few times. Never an attitude or a problem.
Hey...Grew up in Hamburg but live in CO now. Couldn't agree with you more. Helped purchase folks Escape last year and took our Explorer in there while visiting this year for it's 100K service. Bent over backwards to fit us in. Great dealership.
Thx! ForCal… I want to make sure when I build the 2020, I get everything I want/need. I would hate to order it and forgot to add something. Like the PTO, have no idea why I would need it but this item you can't add to the truck after the fact.

You might want to look into that PTO first. I'm not an expert, but most people have no use for it on a pickup truck. More often with a cab n chassis where you would have a tow body or dump bed, something like that.

X2, used PTO many times but never on a pickup truck, don't need to spend money on that option unless you are C&C setup or have a specfic use on a ranch, farm etc...
Pricing is now available on nadaguides.com also. I priced out a 2020 and 2019 Platinum F350 srw diesel as identically equipped as I could. Invoice for the 20 was $77,837. The 19 was $75,167 for difference of $2670. The Platinum Ultimate package is no longer an option on the 20 as some of the stuff that was in it on the 19 is now standard. The moonroof is thankfully a stand alone option because I don't want one. I priced the 19 without the Ultimate package but added in the other stuff.
I'm wondering about the gear ratio's. I like the idea of getting max fuel mileage not towing but I wonder how the 3.31 will do with a heavy tow. Maybe the 10 speed will make it just fine.
Thanks for the info and link for pricing. I built a 2020 F-450 Limited but didn't see an option to delete the moonroof on that package, I don't want one either, but I guess that it will be good for resale value. As to gear rations, look at the chart that I posted earlier, the new 10-speed has 3 overdrive gears so you can go with one ratio lower (higher number) that you could with a 6-speed and have about the same final ratio.
I might want to add the snow plow prep but as most of my driving will be without the plow, about half towing a fiver, how bad would the ride be on a F-450 without the plow? Does anyone have experience with this?
I am considering the Lariat Sport Package (17L) but also want the LED Lighting Package (59Q). The dealer indicated that these two packages could not be combined.
When looking at the Lariat Sport Package is indicates "Headlamps - Black out surrounds, LED only". Does this mean that the Lariat Sport Package includes the LED Lighting Package?
