Anyone know what the up charge is for the 7.3 over the 6.2 on a F250 XLT is. Still trying to figure out just what the tremor is going to cost me. If it wasn’t for the tremor I would get a SCSB xlt Fx4 with 6.2. Looks like I need to add the price of the crew cab and 7.3 and tremor together , but is there any discount for getting the 7.3 with the tremor? I’ve been on the fence on the super cab / crew cab. So having to get the bigger cab isn’t a big deal.
I'm on the fence also on getting another CC as I never use the space other than throw my briefcase an some other things. A SC would serve me well.
I cant remember the price difference between the two vs resale value on the tail end..
I wouldn't expect them to be that great, aside from the limited slip front diff its basically an appearance package. Nowhere near what the Raptor is to the F150. Not that there would be any real point to making a SuperDuty that extreme.
You are getting a higher ride height , 35" tires and limited slip that is tied into the traction control . Only time will tell how well it works. The tires that come with the tremor are the tires I would put on my truck. I do use my truck on the dirt forest roads that are often muddy and or snow covered. The Raptor is a race truck and pretty much useless for me. I think the tremor will hang with the power wagon, at least where I go.

I like the limited slip front axle option. I think it’s a bummer you’re forced to get the blackout treatment with black grille and wheels.
I for one, am disappointed Ford is not allowing the 6.2 with 10 speed in a F250. Should have had higher towing numbers than the outgoing model, I would think better unloaded fuel mileage than the new 7.3, and probably still outperform the competitions new gas engines. Ford would rather force you into the 7.3 option though, or the 350 which would ride like a wagon. I was on the fence, but will most likely pick up a 19 model now.

I agree with you my 250 with the 6.2 works well for me. I think the 10 speed would help the 6.2 get better MPG. I say this because my dad just got a 150 with the 10 speed and is getting better MPG than his 150 with the 6 speed . Other than being a few years new his old truck was the same as his new one.
I wanted to pass on the info to my incredible dealer. He is up front and everything is on the table NO BS whatsoever. In all my years of buying new vehicles I have never walked out of the dealership feeling good about the deal. I have always felt like I got the short end of the stick.. Until now !!! David has always made me feel like a good friend and has always been straight forward with the deal from start to finish. If any of you are here in central California. Head over to Tom Hillier Ford in Escalon Ca. David will take good care of you. I'm on my 3rd vehicle from him and he even helped me get my F150 from another dealer that wouldn't give it up.

When I was shopping trucks I came very close to buying from them, I didn't talk with David but another salesman that was great. He put up with my countless emails and was patient and responsive. Unfortunately the pricing wasn't quite there, not bad but not where I wanted it to be. They are about 2.5 hours from me, I ended up buying from another dealer 3.5 hrs away. Even though I didnt buy, I would still recommend checking them out, seem like good people.
So that puts the Tremor at about 6k over a 6.2 xlt F250 ?
I really want a tremor, but 6k is alot to stomach. I’m worried that the resale value just isn’t going to be there on a 6k “off-road” upgrade. That is one disadvantage of the tremor being a “package” instead of a trim level like the raptor. Although I do like the fact that we can get it on 4 different trim levels. Can’t have your cake and eat it I guess... I think the 7.3 might resell better than a 6.2 going forward. Sounds like I’ll just need to keep it and drive it for a long time.
The one I was building today was going to be a lariat ultimate tremor sport. It would not allow me to add led headlights to the build. I also thought that there would be some kind of package discount for getting the sport package, that is now a little over 4200 with the tremor package because your Basically getting just the painted bumpers and a Bedliner from the sport package. After I saw that was not the case I decided to come home to decide if I just want the tremor package and save 4200 dollars.🤔

So what does it take to build that blue truck for example, it has LED headlights, Lariat sport and Tremor. They also have pics of a Lariat sport (non tremor) on Ford.com with LED headlights.
