I am glad to hear about the X plan although I do feel a bit like a phony if I need to get it through Mustang Club seeing I have never owned a Mustang (although there have been a few in the family over the years) How do you determine invoice on the more uncommon models like the f450 I will be buying? DO you have to go into the dealer and start the ordering process to determine this? I assume each truck will have a somewhat unique Invoice depending on options etc, just like the sticker is somewhat unique.

Doing a build on Nada gives you invoice pricing that is pretty much right on. That's not available for the 2020s yet and I haven't tried to do a 19 build on there lately.
THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was getting ready to order a 2020 and most likely get about 500 below invoice but doing the Costco thing I can get $1000 to $1250 BELOW INVOICE.
THANK YOU again to the OP and all the Costco advisors!!!!!
THANK YOU!

I would not feel bad or a phony to join an organization for an X plan opportunity. The organization benefits by getting your membership fee. You can check with organizations you are already a member of to see if X plan is a benefit. Just a word of caution, the organization I'm a long time member of required being a member for at least 6 months to qualify for X plan pricing. I don't know if this is common practice or not but you should check before joining an organization to get the X plan benefit.
You can build your truck on nadaguides.com and get the invoice pricing. The 2020 model year is not available yet for pricing and probably won't be until you can build and price on Ford's web site. For reference on my build, invoice was 5% below MSRP for the truck (F250 Lariat CCSB, 4x4, 6.2) and 9% below MSRP for each of the options.

Heck I am a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to get my X Plan and I have no idea what an EAA is.
Look back and you can see my post and another post with our F 450 order confirm and it shows Invoice pricing on the F 450 and our options.

LOL. I'm a member of EAA as well although my membership started long ago. Glad to have you as a member. EAA hosts the largest aviation expo in the world every year in late July at their headquarters in Oshkosh, WI. Week long event. 10,000+ airplanes of all types and sizes fly in (most in the first couple days), 40,000 people camping in everything from pup tents to 40' luxury motorhomes. Huge gaggle of WWII aircraft on display and flying during airshow events that occur daily. As a member, you should make the trip and enjoy an amazing event.
Sooooo..... What is the difference in X plan pricing vs Costco which is about 1250 below invoice prices? Thanks!
Based on the info earlier in the thread, it sounds like X plan gets you invoice price and a cap on fees which may or may not make a difference depending on where you live.

Thank you..... sounds like it's about even with a Costco discount........
I'm thinking it will be similar for the gear ratios to the 10r80 or 10L1000, probably not exact though, but who knows.
I put together a comparison spread sheet of 10-speed vs. 6-speed transmissions. I also included the GM specs for reference.
In addition I added calculations for the final drive ratio for various axels. Note that with the 10R80 ratios the final drive ratios are similar to the 6-speed TorqShift with the next numerically lower ratio which are highlighted in the same color. So if you get a 2020 F-450 10-speed with a 4.30 axel, it will be about the same as a 2019 6-speed with a 4.10 axel. I hope this is helpful in deciding which axel ratio to select. Note that the 3.73 is not available with a Diesel but I put it in for comparison purposes.
Just ordered my Rapid Red F450 limited today. Order accepted and confirmed. Roughly $95k MSRP, got X plan plus a $2,000 PCO. Final price $87,500. I'm happy! Saw a 2020 explorer with that color at the dealer....wow it's a beautiful color.
Forgive my ignorance. Please explain what a PCO is? I understand what x-plan is, but an additional $2,000 discount would be even better.

Private Cash Offer. You can go online and request a brochure and Ford might send you a private rebate. If you don’t receive one, you can just keep requesting a brochure until hopefully you receive a PCO. When you go to a Ford dealer, the PCO will show in their system under your name. The amount varies. I’ve gotten them before just randomly without requesting anything also. Of course, the random ones only come when I’m not in the market for a vehicle...
You've got to be kidding. And go back to a 17-19? Likely used? Or a pre-17 that’s shorter? Or a Dodge that’s shorter. Or a Chevy that’s shorter? Two measly inches in a truck so high it gives you nosebleeds? Go add a $400 level if you need to feel taller than the rest.
I have a 17 platinum, and no way I’d consider any of the other brand options. It’s not a truck that I have to really “go back to.’’ I actually use my dually to tow heavy so leveling is a dumb option. Lowering the trucks is just dumb, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease I guess.
