Yes, he is the man at sunrise Ford. I have ordered from him in the past and he is my contact at sunrise Ford. He is not the manager but the director of fleet sales.....
I've known Bobby Williams for 20 years. I remember when he started at Sunrise Ford in Fontana, at the turn of the century. Many years ago, we came dangerously close to running a CAT 3126 HUEI injection system out of fuel, and getting stranded in the middle of the night on forlorn freeways in the SoCal valley, while returning an F-650 SuperCrewzer we brought to a Banks facility tour that I had inspired Gale Banks to offer, and helped arrange attendees for. Bobby is a career Ford commercial truck fleet dealer who knows Ford trucks. He also knows horses and ranching.
Here is what I found out.
Just returned from my dealer. I just bought two vehicles. A new Expedition Plat for my wife, and a pending order for a CC SRW Limited 350 to be placed in December for March delivery.
Orders are being accepted , but not processed until 9-9-19.
So everyone is right. A dealer can take an order and enter it, but technically in limbo until the 9th.

Two? Ouch. You better have a stiff drink. 😜
Rumors in the Chicago Tribune a few weeks back said vehicles aren’t selling, and prices are going to start dropping, or automakers will be going belly-up in the next decade. You’re not supporting that theory, but George, you are my hero. I’d get the shakes and hives signing off on one $80k bill, let alone two. We’ll need pics on delivery to confirm this.😆

Well, here’s the first. It’s a beautiful ride. I’m actually shocked how nice it is.
You will have to wait till March for the second..
Yeah, not something I like to do, but the 15” Yukon Denali has its day and was time for it to go. This one was easy because it involved a trade. The SD will be a clean deal., and I’ll need that drink..
See the GMC Sierra I’ve been driving? A fine truck, but let’s get real, I’m dying since selling my last SD.
Thanks again to 17f250 for the PCO. That was a nice capper for the day.
Why would I want another 19 my company has six of them

He is just being truthful . All u people orders are just pre-orders. They won’t going into production until at least mid December. I did a pre order to so maybe I can be first in my area to have one.
Production starts the 1st week of November. 4 months or so to delivery is likely, 6 to 8 months there is no way. That puts it to March or April. If they were going to be that late they wouldn't even call this a 2020 model year and skip to 2021.
Regional rep told my dealer GM about 12-14 weeks for the order which makes sense. 20s will likely be arriving by the truckload by early December at the latest. Ford's own website says late 2019 availability.
Well............. my friends 2nd cousins brothers auntie who’s nephews next-door neighbor knows the guy across the street that works at the Ford plant........ he said production on 2020 F250 and F350 will be starting before the end of September. That’s one heck of a reliable source and I believe it !!!!........... and the deliveries will start in the middle of November and that’s a fact.

I would like to bring this thread back around to its original topic if I may. Has anyone seen a 2020 build guide for the F450/500 chassis cabs? According to the Donlen production schedule Here the chassis cabs should be on the same schedule as the pickup super duty.
I am dealing with three different dealers and I believe one of them is supposed to be the biggest exporter in the US as far as super duties and commercials are concerned and all three of them say not yet.... WTF. The big one is sunrise Ford in Fontana Ca. They usually stock around 120 to 150+ F250s and F350s. And I’m not counting the commercial 450s and up.
Well I have a bonafide Ford confirmed order with my name on it, but then I am dealing with a dealer that is not big enough to even have a showroom, IIRC there are only 2 salespeople and the owner is always there and he will talk to you.
Do you have the link for the cab and chassis order guide? Thank you

It appears we have a choir, as this chorus is sung again. Now, we just need a quorum.
