Painted the block, heads and oil cooler/filter housing yesterday evening. It's snowing today in Maryland so I'll be outside shoveling, and the engine project will be idled.
I’m very jealous of your shop sir! It’s great following along, I will be somewhat following suit soon.
It ain't all that! It's only a typical 2-car garage that I did some mods to a couple years ago, mostly because my concrete floor was very stained and tired looking. I'm also fortunate my wife is good with letting me park the truck in her garage spot for several months in the dead of winter, LOL.
I'm enjoying the heck out of this project. I wake up in the morning looking toward getting something accomplished on it. An 81 year old friend came over last week, looked in the engine bay of the truck, then the pile of parts, and then the engine (he's the guy who welded the engine support stands) and said "I hope you can get this back together." I told him it would be fine.
I know you intend to have UCF rework your heads, do you have other work or parts planned for your 6.0?

Awesome. Best to you on the upcoming mods. After reading of your past changes I'm reminded of an Ex I saw several days ago while I was at Home Depot. I had to stop and stare because it was such a nice vehicle. I'll bet yours is like that one!
