Well I need your guys help and advice on this I’m seriously considering going t4 while installing the motor. But my question is how difficult would it be to do with the engine in the truck. I’d honestly rather wait a month after install to know everything is working out correctly before I drop that much more cash on turbo and mount. All advice welcome and thank you in advance.
I would rather mount a T4 any day over a stock turbo. Just make the clearance for the DP before putting in the engine. I don't blame you for wanting to check out the engine first.
Yeah that is the route I’m seriously considering going the engine has good compression ran fine prior to pulling from parts truck. Just honestly getting little nervous spending that much money at once before making sure it’s all gonna work out.
I’m horrible about second guessing myself or worrying to be honest. I need to make decision soon though need to get engine in soon as possible. Any and all input still welcome.
If you need to get it in soon then I would just go with what you have. Obviously putting a T4 together while it is on the stand is ideal. Your time frame may make the decision for you
Well the more I thought about it the more it made me decide to just wait little longer do t4 and go ahead and do the injectors I want. And I was ruffly adding what I have in this build so far that was a shocking number. Guess not really I knew ruffly just didn’t know fully till now oh well.
I’m vary close clean up few more parts and I gotta bottom tap all the holes for accessory brackets and engine mounts and. I gotta come up with rest of the funds for turbo and injectors.
