Honestly I don’t have problem with that at all but I’m on such a tight schedule trying to get this and another truck done. All before July 11 I haven’t had much time for other stuff but some time Thad be great for sure.
Also curious on another thing the fluid damper came with a fan clutch spacer. Has anyone ran this setup without spacer with a 6.0 plastic fan?
I had to use the spacer with the OE steel fan, I am curious what you find...as I would prefer a lighter mass fan that moves more air.
Also, just about impossible to R&R the belt with the water pump pulley. Toss a SD one on (smaller so moves more coolant and more air through radiator and condenser) OR toss the 94-97 style on a lathe and remove some material. I did the SD one, no issues with stock belt or belt slip.
Well so far got the block cleaned primered and painted black also got valve covers and oil pan powder coated. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get the timing cover cleaned reinstalled and mostly assembled if all goes well
Well got a lot done just not all I wanted to but definitely getting closer all new rail plugs. Full force diesel rail inserts and Mark Fugazzotto topside efuel installed. New melling lpop very close to being ready to install.
Well got my oil cooler resealed and cleaned today along with my rear engine plate resealed. Also got the new rear main installed starting to really come together.
The holes in the banjo bolt are probably 3times the size or better. My main issue was I wanted to reseal the oe banjo bolts but It was during week while I was ordering stuff. And there is two different styles of oem banjos apparently so I just decided to upgrade which I’m really happy with.
Yeah I installed them in front and in rear I didn’t know which style banjo bolts I had. And didn’t know which orings I needed and just decided to order for front and rear. I know totally not needed but figured why not. At this point anyway. I’m already this deep down the rabbit hole didn’t see any harm now.

The only regret I have is not doing the rear main and resealing the plate. I suspect I have a leak somewhere around there.
