Well sorry for not much updates lately my hours at work where cut and my build speed is gonna Slow down a bit. But yesterday I did a oil change and fuel filter change and I blew a rear brake hose when I pulled into my shop. But figured some update was better than none.

Well first off I hope everyone is doing well with everything going on in the world. So on to what’s been going on with the build honestly just been in money saving mode but I really need to get show on road. On my list of things to possibly do is injector cups I’m considering replacing now. With a set of riffraff stainless ones already getting ready to buy tool to fix another truck that needs them. Just trying to see if you guys think this is over kill or kinda a why not while it’s on stand.

Are the current cups ok? If so, leave them alone. Just my opinion.

Honestly is didn’t seem to have any issues while running in the parts truck the engine came out of. But when I drained coolant to pull the motor there was I slight oil or maybe fuel residue in top of coolant bucket. Didn’t notice till recently because I hadn’t paid attention when I drained it it’s very very minimal though.

It may even be as simple as just residue from when the engine was rebuilt it only has 40,000 miles. The po May have never flushed coolant out after rebuild. I has 400 psi compression on every cylinder and I probably have 20 hours of run time on engine with no issues.

Yeah if it were me, I'd let it be. Unless you have extra time and just really want to do it while it's on a stand?

Well finally started ordering stuff and IVe definitely went down the rabbit hole. Got Irate diesel kit headstuds beehive valve springs and pushrods. All new gaskets and the list keeps growing but I’m finally getting there. Also picked up a set of full force diesel rail inserts to try out. On another note I’ve narrowed my hpop choices down to stage 2 cnc or a adrenaline any one else running a cnc pump.

I’d definitely recommend purchasing the ford style valve spring tool for these valve springs. I used the regular cheap one everyone recommends online. And let’s just say it is very sketchy at times or atleast in my opinion.

They look Beehive style, is that correct? How is their installed pressure compared to the common Comp 910s?
