Well guys I believe it’s finally time for this build to take off here’s my current plan. But I’d like your guys advice on this build.
250/100 rosewood injectors
s369sxe
csd Mount
6.0 intercooler
headstuds
pushrods
riffraff boots and intake plenums
17 hpop for now
valve springs?? Comp 910s or beehive ??
Melling lpop
fluid damper
reseal engine
oil rail plugs
fuel rail fittings
im going to use a engine out of a parts truck with 44,000 miles on a rebuild it’s a jasper I ran compression and numbers are good. I’m open to all advice and opinions I’m not sure which valve springs to go with.
Totally forgot about oil rail plugs and fuel fittings I’ll add that to the list to. Also still curious if anyone has any input on which valve springs would be better to go with on this build?
According to that link it said for injectors above 275cc but I think I may end up going with them. We will see though wait to see what my paycheck ends up at to get studs and springs and pushrods ordered.
Comp 910 valve springs are what most are using for similar builds, and I don't think anyone has had any complaints.
I think you're going to need more oil than a 17* pump can provide for those injectors. I think you'd be looking at a T500 at minimum, and may need twins. It depends a lot on your tuning, but assuming you're not undertaking a build like this to drive like a grandpa, I think you're going to need more than a 17 degree pump can deliver.
Okay guys been busy with new job but finally got time to post what I’ve been up to. Trucks is still running so so honestly believe it’s just due to low compression. But I’ve installed new shift cable and shift tube due to broke plastic on shift cable ends. Tube was wore out I cleaned up the wiring to my efuel much happier with it now. Just ordered all new tierod ends to completely all the parts I have already to be able to rebuild my frontend finally. Here’s a list of what I have and what’s on its way.
spicer balljoints
spicer front axle ujoints
moog tierod ends including drag link on there way
05-07 gear box was wanting red head box just not yet
borgeuson steering shaft
Once frontend is rebuilt And I purchase some new headlights. I’m going to start ordering stuff for replacement engine. Wish I had more stuff to post just new job and moving has been expensive. I’ll try to get some pics ASAP
All the list of the upgrades are going on my replacement engine which has right around 40,000 miles on it and has 400 compression. On all cylinders on a cold compression test. Current engine only has efuel rebuilt turbo and 150cc injectors. And I’ve been being very easy on it for time being. Got my fuel filters swapped and oil change and air filter changed this weekend.
Well was searching eBay the other night and scored a e350 diesel power steering pump with pulley for cheap. Now I just need to find a e350 ac bracket and few other parts.
As for new engine parts I’m probably going to be ordering a hand full of gaskets and stuff next week I’ll keep you guys posted.

Why an e350 pump?
As for the turbo I am not sure what you decided but I feel more air is better especially with the bigger injectors but the limit is the head design for flow (I think someone went through this).
I have considered a larger injector but would also want to go up to at least a 369sxe and at that point would want to tunnel the cab for a big down pipe and consider how to get oil to the injectors. Then there is the thought of pumping the engine, however the money tree hasn't been all the fruitful.
