Well got another short drive in and with no tunes it runs great and little to no smoke I honestly don’t think I’m going to worry about tunes for a while. I’d really like to get everything in tip top shape first need to order some headlights and finish fixing doors up. And definitely need new mirrors and lots of little things.
Well so far I’ve put about 75 miles on it not really run it to hard but on completely stock tune it runs pretty darn good. Little to no smoke need to order new egt probe for my guage old one messed up removing from other manifold.
So far it seems pretty good still need to finish building intake and modifying filler neck for vent but I’m pretty pleased. After that stuff next on list is completely tare doors apart and finish repairing everything.
Well question for you guys that have some more information on a e4od than me I’ve noticed that the 1-2 shift is very delayed once it’s in a gear it’s fine but. But try to make the shift is a slight delay if I let out for a second it will shift. I’m figuring it’s time for a built trans but this one holds gear fine just like it’s not sure when to shift from 1st to second.
Turn the key on but don't start the engine, and within 10 seconds slowly depress the accelerator to wide open throttle and release, then turn the key off. Do this 2 more times.
