I've lost 50 lbs doing intermittent fasting!!! do some research and try it out... you will not be disappointed
This is one of my routines! I don't do it daily, but it's incredibly useful. There's plenty of science that backs up giving your intestines a break too, and I think that's why I feel good after doing it.
Been stuck at my all-time low of 222.8 for the past three days. I'm pumped that I've hit a new low since the last one was in November but I'm bummed that I can't budge through. We'll be out of town all weekend so I'm sure it will go up at least several pounds but maybe that'll help me drop further by this time next week.

I'm tightening up my entire life right now, and i mean everything! that means i'm not eating out, i'm not buying alcohol, i'm not making deserts, etc etc etc... and i'm not wasting money on ANYTHING for the next few months. Only what's necessary! Even Netflix is getting cancelled i'm going all in, and i expect to drop weight close to 170lbs. and I expect my IRA to be fully funded this year lol! actaully, not my IRA, but i'm saving money to help parents with their bills. They are in a pretty bad spot financially, so my sister and brother and I are getting them back on their feet til things turn around. Life is changing & I'm pumped, I'm not going to stand for 'No' and i'm gonna get the best out of every day. Game on!

i don't quite have the tiger by the tail just yet, but i'm closing in on him. But when I grab him ...oh man lol! i'm sure i'll sit down and question myself sometime in mid-May, ask myself if i can keep grabbing, pressing, fighting. usually takes me that long to start telling myself lies like "that tiger is too big now" rather "you'll never make it" - Lies, I can still chase him. "You did good enough, now you can relax". Lies. Or "Look at everyone else, they know how to relax". Lies. They also know how to get out of shape and stay so deep in debt that their great great grandparents can feel it! Oh, and the worst lie of all, "I'll do it later". Later never comes! It's a lie!
I can go on forever with the lies that come into my brain. "You aren't strong enough, you're just a man" LIES! I'm a man with purpose and passion!

i'm off to a good start for the month, nothing but clean healthy food today and a great workout. and that aint no april fool! i made some rice and beans yesterday (lots of carbs i know, but its immediately post workout), portioned it into 5 containers, so i'll have one after my morning workout. this morning's was delicious! i ate an eggwhite omelette with it. my farts should be incredible latter lol
Went to KC over the weekend and splurged on waaay to many carbs. Only ended up gaining 4 lbs so I'm happy with how it turned out, I've seen MUCH worse weight gain over a single weekend.
Started off the day\this month at 226 after the "cheat weekend", 10 lbs less than what I started in March. I'm trying OMAD (One Meal A Day) during the week and then allowing for more carbs and normal eating schedules when we travel on the weekends. I've heard fasting works really well with Keto so I'll give it a swing! Black coffee and lots of water during the day, then one meal (supper) is the plan.
Its clear to me that I am not in the mindset to lose weight. I do well when I take my lunch to work every day because I know that is all of the food that I have with me to eat, but since I got back from Utah, the wife insists I come home to have lunch with her every day. I usually do great until I walk in the front door, and smell the food she has cooked for the daycare, I.E. Garlic Breadsticks, hamburgers, spaghetti, etc.. etc.. the aroma takes over the house and its sudden hunger when I walk in. At that point there is a fridge full of food and cupboards full of snacks.. and its game on.
my house is the opposite lol, pretty much the only 'bad' carbohydrates in that house are in the form of sugar and flour in 5 pound bags. other than that, there's steel cut oats, frozen vegetables in the freezer, and fresh vegetables in fridge. same for meats. and eggs, lots of eggs.
...there is one old jar of molasses that i was considering the other night, i seriously about caved and opened that thing up and went to town hahaha!
