Several on here have posted they need to lose weight including myself. I was thinking, we should set a goal of how much weight we lose between a group of volunteers to join in, and set a deadline.
Post up if you would like to be a volunteer.
Lose weight safely, set a personal goal and strive for it.
I know I need the support, or encouragement, others may also. If you volunteer, keep track of your weight loss, and post up.
Say for instance, we set a accumulative goal of 15 lbs per volunteer by say... Oct, November? Anyone think that is attainable? Remember its accumulative, some will lose more, some will lose less.
Offering as a suggestion, what do you think? Biggest loser gets a Backyard BBQ G2G, or Pot Luck at the location of their choice (providing its at a realistic traveling distance for all volunteers)? (I know kind of a moronic reward but its good motivation for me and I know several others that would agree)
I'm not really up for a competition but I am trying to get where I can do more.
I thought about posting on the old thread about how I was doing. Garrett is still on his wellness program at work. Clint is still on the changes he made. I am still doing what I have for the last 4 months. It's working but slow as molasses at the north pole.
ah..I get what you are saying, don't feel compelled to compete, just do it in a safe manor, when we reach our goal as a group of volunteers we can do the G2G to celebrate our accomplishments.
Of course the quicker we get to the goal, the quicker we can have the BYBBQ or Potluck!
just post up how much you lose from this point forward, we now have 2 people that say I'm in, so together if we lose 30 lbs for the both of us, we all can have a BYBBQ to celebrate..
Stopped the grains, the sugar, the starches, lost 50lbs in about 8 months. Did wonders for my arthritis and sleep and energy. Think about that and imagine all the fun that was to adjust to...
You don't have to post your weight, if you want just post your loss, but I am gonna post my weight, so that I can remember my starting point. (six months I will forget)
