Leaving keto today and just going low carb. Pretty excited to not have my daily life controlled by 25 or less carbs but I'm really nervous about how much I'll pack back on. Our plan is to keep it low carb, eat reasonable portions, and keep the 5-days a week\1 hour a day workout in full force. We'll see how well our plan fails\flies by this time next month I suppose.
Sooooo unmotivated today! don't want to do anything.
i was that way this morning until my second shot of coffee lol

that's what i'm a doing! less that a third of my calories are from carbs - maybe less than a fourth, and all of those carbs are pretty much non starchy veggies. oh and an apple a day lol! I'm still hitting up around 150g protein and probably around 60 grams of fiber. i love it!

i've still got 2 more weeks of my twice-a-year diet, but when i've up, i'm really looking forward to a decent tender steak!
I cooked BBQ wings , cheesburgers, steaks, over the weekend and spent all day grilling Pot Roast yesterday at low temp. It was delicious, and I made way too much, so I was happy my brother and his buddy stopped in to help us knock a bunch of it out. I made two batches of it, and still have one left. We all knocked out the small one last night, and still have the big one to eat this week.
So.. all in all I put on about 3 more pounds this weekend, overindulging in some of my favorite foods. Looks like its salads for the next 10 days.

speaking of salads, I chopped up a head of red leaf lettuce and kale, mixed it up in big sealed bowl that i keep salads in in the fridge, and i've been eating on it for a couple days... anyway, i've been eating it with a half a chopped avocado and either eggs or fish or chicken breast... so so so good!!!
ok lets see if this works...
Alrighty...
So here's meal number 1 - that's about a cup of juiced veggies WITH the pulp, 3 big sliced button mushrooms, 8oz egg whites, plus 1 whole egg, seasoned with garlic powder, fresh cracked black pepper, and a little bit of knox gelatin lol!
(often thought, i'll have either kale or spinach with the omelette)
here's my protein shake! a scoop of pure whey isolate (chocolate or vanilla usually). i put in some of that good ol collagen you mentioned the other day haha! and about a teaspoon of benefiber. i'll take a probiotic and a fish oil pill a lot of the time with this snack/meal.
Alrighty, Meal 2: 2 baked tilapia fillets, half an avocado, and a generous amount of shredded cabbage. Delicioumous.
Meal 3: Roughly 1 baked chicken breast (in olive oil) and about a cup of raw mixed veggies:
Meal 4. Boiled eggs, other half of that avocado, and mixed baby spring greens! also deliciousmous.. NOTE - usually I have 4 boiled eggs, but we ran out... happens a lot on Friday haha!
Alrighty, here's a typical last meal of the day - rather, these are leftovers from last night. that's a pretty good serving of salmon fried in olive oil and more greens. though we will more often have baked cabbage, baked Brussels sprouts, steamed veggies, steamed asparagus...
Here's a snack/desert I usually have after the last meal of the day. I'll usually only eat 2/3 of the grapefruit and a handful of walnuts, and a handful of almonds. if I have apples, I'll do an apple and some nuts.
