think of it as a colon cleanse, which it kinda is! just keep the sugar at 0 and the starches as minimal as possible. It's also a neat way to give those intestines a chance to rebuild
success all around!
well, i've been eating a lot more than i normally do... its wholesome food but still! i never thought i would be somebody who could not be trusted with a bowl of apples and a big bag of raw almonds lol
i'm weighing about 3 pounds more than normal. I'm gonna cut back today though and see just how much is traffic jam and how much is now body mass lol
In reality, I don't think my mind set is right for losing weight right now. I am not sure how to get to that utopia where losing weight is a goal rather than a pain in my backside. I know its all a mind set, and one day I am all on board with losing weight, then next, I am well screw it.... Food is delicious, and I have no self control which is how I got in the predicament.
Hey all, I'm back again and wanted to throw out an update
Been off the dieting wagon for the past month and managed to creep up 10 lbs, which can be expected because we were eating quite a few sweet and carb-riddled goodies. I'm OK with my current weight (still 50 lbs less than where I started 10 months ago), but wanted to get back on the wagon and make a hard effort to drop what I can over the next 2 months before summer gets here and we go back into a normal diet.
Nice thing is that my body apparently remembers how keto works and quickly kicked into gear after we started on Sunday, lost 5 lbs in two days! Hoping to keep this pace going at least for the first 10 lbs, but then I'll be happy with 2-3 lbs a week after that.
sounds like a pretty good rate!
my wife and i started making a 'keto' cheesecake, name it's good. you just use stevia instead of sugar in the filling, and swap the graham cracker crust for chopped almonds. the crust is really good if you make it with ground flax seed, fine chopped almonds, butter, and just enough coco powder and stevia to make it chocolaty.
anyway, what i learned about keto recipes like the cheesecake one, is that it's not a good idea for me lol! i just start eating it til its gone or til i have a stomach ache lol
