i made a weird change yesterday. I ate breakfast post workout like I always do, but instead of waiting a full 3 hrs for 2nd breakfast I only waited 2 hrs. Then I preceded eating lunch, afternoon snack and supper about an hour earlier than normal as well. I controlled myself a lot better at supper haha! and this morning I woke up feeling a little better than normal. so i'm gonna do that again today and see what happens!
oh, i've been eating a grapefruit and a handful of walnuts & a handful of almonds for desert at night... that's what usually gets me lol, i start in on the almonds and can't stop fortunately i did stop last night at just a handful. I just gotta keep it up! its a daily decisiion, a daily struggle! but I wouldn't have it any other way
Nuts are great to satisfy a hunger, but damn I struggle with not eating the whole container! lol
Weighed in at a new low of 217.6 this morning, looks like a total of 5 lbs less than my best weigh in from last month. This week has been incredible with 3.5 lbs lost since this time last week (so it includes my "cheat" weekend days), hopefully I can keep it up.
Who know, eons from now I just may be knocking on the door of 199.9
Hope yall had a great Easter! I probably ate 100+g protein at lunch yesterday alone lol! i was good though, probably ate 30-35g fat and 60-80gs Carbs, so i don't know, maybe 1200 kcals... altogether yesterday, 500kcals for breakfast and similar for super, I'm guessing I still only ate around 2500 total calories for the day
I had a great Easter, filled with great times with the family and plenty of good cooking and candies. Ended up gaining 3.5 lbs over 2.5 days of getting off the diet, but it's still a pound lower than what I started at last Monday so I'll call that a win.
Now if I lose just 1 lb a day then I'll still be on pace to set another record low before this weekend. Time to get to it!
I packed on the pounds, threw caution to the wind, and ate a gut load of food. I started getting a stomach ache about 6 PM last night and have suffered some of the worst egg farts one person could possibly handle. This morning's multiple restroom visits have relieved me of several pounds of added weight, so maybe tomorrow I can weigh in at a decent weight again. My stomach is finally starting to feel normal again, but for a while I figured I should take a sick day and spend the day outside away from flames.. If you catch my drift.... If you did catch my drift, you would have a stomach ache too.. Poor coworkers.. LOL!!
No weight loss yesterday. We had three kinds of meat for lunch. I did a ham, leg of lamb and a pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon on the traeger. My son in law did beef tenderloin on his traeger. Wow, was it all so good along with pies, side dishes, pie and carrot cake. Oh by the way we had deviled eggs too. Pull my finger.
I have never done a beef tenderloin on the GMG, I will have to try one. I did a pork loin on it last week, which was good, but with the smoke, made it almost taste like ham, and I can easily get my fill of ham pretty quick.
The secret with tenderloin is to not leave it on the smoker too long and to not overcook it. I did this one to an internal temperature of about 140 degrees. I also didn't use the smoking setting, but just the grill setting. The lamb was really good. The secret with it is also to not overcook it. It was done to a rare to medium rate.

i don't quite have the tiger by the tail just yet, but i'm closing in on him. But when I grab him ...oh man lol! i'm sure i'll sit down and question myself sometime in mid-May, ask myself if i can keep grabbing, pressing, fighting. usually takes me that long to start telling myself lies like "that tiger is too big now" rather "you'll never make it" - Lies, I can still chase him. "You did good enough, now you can relax". Lies. Or "Look at everyone else, they know how to relax". Lies. They also know how to get out of shape and stay so deep in debt that their great great grandparents can feel it! Oh, and the worst lie of all, "I'll do it later". Later never comes! It's a lie!
I can go on forever with the lies that come into my brain. "You aren't strong enough, you're just a man" LIES! I'm a man with purpose and passion!

welp, i figured i'd get to mid May before i started getting this tired lol! I'm still working on it all, not gonna give up.
This weekend was a lost cause... I thought I would behave myself, but I turned on the eat button and gorged myself multiple times. Monday's weigh in was noteworthy... I am a lot less likely to fall off of the earth now.
