i had some bottom round steak slices and leftover brussels sprouts yeaterday for one of my meals, plus overall i ate more than normal, but somehow i dropped a pound lol! 182 & change. today will be easy, but tomorrow i'm in an all-day training workshop... where i will have to bring my own food... and watch a bunch of other people eat their fast food and whatnot... i'm not looking forward to the temptation lol
Its easy for me when I take my lunch to work, because I know that what I brought is all I have and it seems to satisfy me, even when others are eating things that smell or look really good. Thank goodness that most of the people at work have iron stomachs and encourage each other to eat super spicy food which doesn't settle with me. As in throw in some Carolina Reapers, some super hot sauce, some battery acid, light it on fire then eat it kind of people.. I wouldn't be able to get it past my lips.. Its like they encourage each other to go just a little bit hotter...

I hit my week low today, but now here is the weekend again.. I am still way above where I should be.
I don't know if it's good or bad, but I been thinking more about what I eat, and today I went to a school event with my youngest called Donuts with Dad.. I was scanning the counter for something other than a donut, but that was all they had. Not that it wasn't delicious, but... I was secretly hoping they had an alternative.
those type things just kill me! fora couple years now, i will take a protein shake and a little tupperware thing of chicken & veggies or something whenever I know there's going to be just junk, i don't care what everyone else says lol. the Donuts with Dad would be pretty tough though, cause that's your kiddo! i'll be going through that soon enough!
Right!! I ate mine, then waited for her to finish hers.. she licked all of the frosting off of it and handed it to me like she wanted me to eat it... Yeah right?!?!
I stuffed it in her cup of water and threw it out.

Social events are always rough, I can typically only eat 5-10% of the foods if I'm lucky . Sometimes you just have the bite the bullet for the right occasions
Final weigh in for the month and before we go non-keto this weekend, down to 223.8. Looks like it's 10 lbs total lost for this month, one the best "losses" yet!
i was known as the guy who can put away the food in my family, both sides lol. that makes it kinda difficult when seeing family because they expect me to woof it down, but i don't anymore...unless i am caught in a moment of weakness ... and its not pretty lol
Holy cow--- It was ME!-- I made babies cry and old people pass out! My wife glared at me and my daughter moved to the other side of my wife in the PEW -- yes I stopped my keto diet foe 2 days over my birthday holiday-- and my gas has been atrocious-- I can't help it-- I blew out my colon in church this morning-- it was awful-- It has to be the worst case of gas I have ever had! I was embarrassed-- I don't get embarrassed -- the young couple 30 ft down the row kept checking their baby's diaper-- Worst part of this story is-- I am not exaggerating-- my daughter did move and my wife was really really mad. We rode home with the windows down- it was cold.

i was very selective on the foods that I ate sunday and monday because i was going to attend a memorial service monday afternoon, the last thing i needed was a buttsplosion lol
There's a guy on youtube that has some pretty good nutrition advice, and I especially like the video he does over cheat meals. he doesn't really have cheat meals in the fashion that most people do, his cheat meals are 'functional' so that he's going to eat stuff with nutrition that he might not be getting the other 6 1/2 days of the week.
...anyway, what made me think of it was he said "you don't want to eat a bunch of crap on your cheat day, because you don't want to just **** your pants when you are on the squat rack the next day" or somethign like that lol!
Yeah.. That's a little much for me.. or a lot. I wouldn't want to be built like that. I want my arms to hang at my sides and be able to comb my own hair. LOL!
not that i'm incredibly muscular or lean, but it's a weird addiction/obsession. Once you get hooked then you always want to be just a little bit more muscular... and just a little bit leaner ... and just a bit more muscular ... and just a bit leaner lol

i watched one of that guys videos on the whole IIFYM thing (if it fits your macros). It was nice to hear a credible source say it's not ideal for somebody trying to get into tip top shape. its fine if you're 400lbs probably, but once you get a good diet fairly dialed in, not so much. in my opinion anyway
