i had a nicely portioned supper last night! but then came the munchies, so i ate peanut butter and celery and it was so good! this morning i woke up burping peanut butter... not sure if that's good or bad, but i ended up having a great workout!
Last night was my daughter's Birthday, and we celebrated by going to her choice dinner. This happened to be a Chinese buffet... so cue the weight loss setback. I worked all week to get back down to 205.5, now back up to 207.2 again...
and then i'll picture you eating a healthy snack after a good half hour of cardio hahaha! lol j/k, i had a good night last night, at some kale, homemade salsa, chicken breast, and lima beans. got straight up and went to the garage and finished staining some shelving that i'm putting up in the garage. no snack before bed either, tho i had to fight it!
... ... all this effort is because the wife want olive garden tonight hahaha! no breadsticks or pasta for me. only the salad, and i might get a small steak with veggies if they have that. no pasta tho!!!!!!!!!
232.9 --- going to hit it hard this week! Did really good over the weekend- Even with the cake baking- and a trip to Ihop (had an omelette) Still trying to eat low/no carbs- its very hard when eating out. I really want pop corn! The all you can eat steak feed is coming up-- 2lbs of steak and beans-bread-beer- and a massively huge baked potato-- :-( I know I will do poorly. Since I have a driver I might drink a beer or 2.
still 206 something this morning, but I did get to see 204.4 for a short while on Saturday during the middle of the day. Pie Five was not helpful to my weight loss, but Mmmm so darn good.
i took the wife to see a movie, and i didn't eat anything at the concessions! that's my 'win' for the weekend lol, that and i sold my old riding mower for $400
wanna see what my diet kinda looks like now? i've modified it from about 55-60% kcals from carbs to 40-45%. still minimizing saturated fat where i can tho.
so here's a copy/past from a breakdown i just put together. i pasted directly from an Excel spreadsheet, so it might look wierd...
ah crap, it took out all the formatting lol
edit...adding formatting:

76 grams of Fat
250 g carbohydrates
28% from Fat, 31% from Protein, 41% from Carbohydrates
(NOTE - the spreadsheet has the calc's for macro breakdown, but it didn't want to paste over very well lol)
crap, it took out all the extra spaces! oh well. Now that I see about what I'm taking in, i can easlity elimimate the milk and the rice. add in a tilapia fillet.
That seems like a lot of food by looking at the list, but I am certain I would be still hungry in the end.
today was a chicken quarter, some broccoli, and some brussel sprouts for lunch, then dinner with the family, some kind of cheese chicken and pasta stuff to ruin any progress I made previously in the day.
yep it was more food than i I wanted actaully lol, yet i still have that mental 'need' to keep on eating!
anyway, i'm glad i tallied everything up again. Now i can modify & keep on pushing. time to buckle down!
i could have easily taken out the banana or pear (100 calories) and the rice (180 calories) and less milk with the protein shake. would have put me at around 2300 calories for the day. That would be much better for me I think.
this evening, i'll be mowing a neighbor's lawn if the weather permits. nice little bit of cardio!
Living in a hotel is not helping my weight loss! Not that i am making great leaps and bounds like you guys! It also makes it hard when you are feeding 8 people on a tight budget processed foods and high starch foods are the norm. At least I don't eat what my grand baby daddy makes. It is all carbs. Time to stop whining and get to work!
