For me its a mental block. I want to get below 200, but my brain says.. Oh My Gosh!!! you are getting too close to 200, you better pack on an extra 5 lbs.. Keep telling yourself you are hungry, and can't get enough food to eat!! Think about pizza and cheeseburgers and all the bad stuff till you give in and overeat on that stuff. (must be a built in preprogrammed feature to protect myself against getting in shape)
That's the aggravating thing, I really haven't been eating any more lately than I have in the past on this diet. I'm typically about 1/2 as hungry as I was pre-Keto but the weight loss part of the diet seems to be fading fast. Of course if I get completely off the diet I'm guessing the weight will make a quick return, with interest!
I was down a little this morning from yesterday, but it wasn't necessarily from good diet and behavior, I was well behaved until about 8, then I had an uncontrollable hunger. I think my body has a mind of its own.
I wish I desired to lose the weight this month like I did last month. Its like I was creeping closer to my goal, then my mind just went on self destruct mode.

Same here, I was doing real well until we went on our 4 day mini-vacation. Now I feel like I'm crawling back in the weight loss progress.
I was doing really well too!! I just lost focus, and don't know where to find it again. I will keep trying to follow some of the old rules and see if it comes back to me.
don't be afraid to make a new rule too! i was talking to my dad today about my diet. I said that i've had to dramatically change my workout routine over the last three years to keep progressing. same for my diet. I'm a true believer now that as your body composition changes, so does your body's diet and exercise requirements. Dig Deep & Never Stop!
My brother has lost 40 pounds in the last month or so by eating whole foods. really i think that's his only major change. he started around 400 pounds, so lets say he's gonna be 350 pounds by September 1st. That's enough to change what his body needs quite a bit. by the time he gets to 300 pounds, say in December, he'll need to either step up the exercise or bring down the calories. a good half a year of dieting and weight loss will make you a very very efficient machine. Only way to overcome that, that I know of, is to keep pressing forward even if it means doing something you've never done before. and there's plenty that you can try!
i just realized i'm probably sounding like i'm just rambling lol! this is stuff that worked for me. and the lot of it i got from other people like me. i just want to pass it along... what good am i if i don't contribute! One thing is for sure, I can't wait to see my brother get in shape! i bet he can't either lol
Workout routine-- yeh you haven't really met some us in person HA HA HA :-) I guess Curtis does run on the treadmill-- I use the exercise bike occasionally- don't know what Justin does--
175lbs this morning last time i weighed that i was 17!
lol you guys are funny! and oddly enough, i'm trying to get into really good shape partly because the wife and I are planning to adopt. that way, my family will get the best from me! at least that's how i see it in my head lol, im sure it won't work quite that easily!
My weekend Bonanza raised me up about 3 lbs, but I am back down to about 1 lb over my low weight now. I though the last two nights were going to be certain death of my diet. lunch was very well behaved, but I lost my mind over dinner.
Last night my wife made an awesome chicken linguini, and peas. I tried to offset some of the linguini by taking a huge helping of peas, but I still ended up with a full plate of food. It was the best one she has cooked yet. It was awesome, but still all that pasta...
I was surprised to see the loss from the day before. See.. I just can't figure out my body. When I think I am eating very well, I gain weight, and when I throw caution to the wind, I seem to see to go away. Makes no sense to me.
