thanks! this morning i was doing those high knee jog-in-place things, whatever theyre called, and i could actaully see a bit of improvement... the loose skin i have from having a belly is now just looser lol! so it flops around worse than ever! its nasty!
well guys, i'm kinda disappointed lol! the pics don't show much improvement. but i lost 5 pounds overall these 3 months and i'm just a bit stronger in some of my lifts, and i feel like i'm in better shape!
And this is today ... Absolutely zero difference lol! holy crap, that was a very intense 3 months. less calories, less carbs, more protein, heavy iron, lots more HIIT and cardio... but damn, i don't think i can lose any more fat haha!
Great work! I wouldn't have the confidence to show pictures of myself on an open forum, so you have definitely made enough progress to feel comfortable doing that.
I guess I didn't take my contract seriously, because instead of going down two lbs this month, I have gained about 3.
I haven't even tried though. Not in the least. I have eaten healthier, but not less.

posting those pics kinda helps me keep after it for the long haul, but also helps me not take it too seriously i think lol! the bonus for me is if i can get other people to get busy and get healthy! I want to contribute a little bit while i'm here on earth!
hey i understand! a couple years ago, i went through a phase of eating a giant mound of steamed vegetables or a huge pile of asparagus with a huge portion of lean meat like turkey or chicken or fish every single night... healthy food just wayyyyy too much lol! it was better than the same volume of pasta and garlic bread of course, but it'll only get you so far til you gotta eat less or exercise more, ya know. in my case now, if i want to lose more fat then i have no choice but to eat less. i can't be any more active than I am right now hahaha! the last 3 months i've proven that at least.
i have riced cauliflower and eggs on standby almost all the time, so if the wife says "we don't have anything to eat", well guess what we're eating hahaha! stir fried with just a touch of olive oil is how i make it, and its pretty good!
this weekend, i mixed about 25 bags of concrete by hand lol, and cut a bunch of trees & dragged the limbs to a big pile. then I cut up teh rest of my peach wook and split it all by hand. i'm so sore lol
My Father-in-Law had a Heart Attack on Saturday, and I think he eats pretty healthy most of the time, at least in comparison to me. My father died a year ago from a heart attack, and all this is kind of slowly processing in my head.
being healthy is just the slowest rate at which you die-- but sometimes it just doesn't matter and you get cancer- or get hit by a truck while jogging.
Yep, its true. The doctors said my FIL was doing everything correct, with a good diet, exercise daily, and keeping busy, but he just had a hereditary glitch.
I was down 2.5 lbs this morning, so I recreated my lunch from yesterday since the wife went to the grocery store last night, to see if I can bring it down a little more.
my dad's cousin and cousin in law were both super healthy, both of them biked a lot and ran 5ks and such. both super lean. one had a heart attack in his 40s, and she got cancer in late 50s i believe. they're both still ticking, but sure is confusing to see things like that.
