at least good thing about a salad is there aren't any rules, except limit the dressing and don't put fried chicken in it lol! can be shaken up a lot!
oh i've got one for you that really keeps me full for a long time. are you a coffee drinker? one of my favorite snacks/meals is eating a relatively large helping of mixed nuts (i prefer roasted & unsalted, but i'll do raw unsalted almonds and walnuts too sometimes too), maybe a little pack of raisins or a banana, protein shake, and COFFEE!!! its the only meal that i drink coffee with. usually i have that between breakfast and lunch. but i've had it for breakfast, and lunch for that matter, before.
No, Coffee and I don't see eye to eye. I really don't mind the smell of it, but for me to drink coffee, it would have to be 3 parts creamer, 1 part coffee, and 3 parts sugar, or sweetener.. I don't know why I have never liked coffee, but it may be genetic. My father couldn't even stand the smell of it.

i love coffee with certain things, mostly cookies or cake lol, but i actually also love coffee with savory things too like nuts. believe it or not, beef jerky and coffee are one of my favorites! but i don't eat a lot of jerky anymore.
but with coffee, i tend to pace myself and actually start to feel full. still i gotta watch that salt and saturated fat. thats why i limit myself on it really
A friend of mine was on some diet that he drank a cup of coffee each morning, with half a stick of butter, or something crazy like that, and then didn't eat again until dinner time. He read in a book that this was the way to go. I don't know about him, but my big guts would eat my small guts if I had to go without food for that long.

i've heard about the coffee & butter thanig too, but there's absolutely no way lol, maaayyyyyybeeee if a person is sedentary all day, i could see it being a fast fat loss thing for a short amount of time... But you gotta feed yourself lol
oh, i went to see a concert last night, Black Label Society, it was awesome! got up this morning to the tune of 180.6lbs i think. this is the weight i was 6 months ago on my veggie diet! so looks like whatever i've been doing can work for me as long as i keep up the activity level
I weighed in this morning again, since Monday of last week. I had a loss of 4.4 lbs, which makes up for the weight loss from last month that I didn't fully accomplish and for this month. Now just to keep it in this range until the 14th of Aug, then I can start on my next 2 lbs. Actually, I will probably see more than the 2 lb weight loss with the current rate I am going.
Took the girls out for pizza last night, and although I ordered their low calorie meal, by the time it was done, it was a high calorie meal. I went up half a pound, but I also gave plasma, and I always weigh more after they give me saline directly to the bloodstream than days I don't donate.
i've been meaning to donate blood for a while now! but not today lol, i'm a bit weaker than i normally am. i weighed in at 179 this morning! not exactly planned. i think i better stop here, im almost uncomfortable at my current state! i think its that im worn out and didnt eat enough yesterday.
I mowed last night, and it was muggy out, when I finished there was sweat dripping from all of me, and all of my clothes. Good news is that I weighed at an all time low weight for the month, bad news is I give plasma today, and I will be dehydrated, so it will take longer and be more painful.
