I ate at 2 fancy restaurants had the salad bar at one- and a steak omelette at the other-- No snacks and allot of fluids -- (Not alcohol either) Didn't weigh myself since I was at a hotel- but feeling pretty good about it--- 237 Justin? I might be able to catch you I am closing in on less then 10 lbs--- Curtis- maybe I will catch you someday--- Turd F.U. --- ha ha just kidding :-) No way I will get down to the 180s I would look Ethiopian or something.Having a good Competition with myself is doing pretty well.

You'll pull ahead of me no problem, I'm eating school lunch today (carbs galore ) and we'll be traveling out of town with restaurant eating this weekend. To top it off, Jamie went and bought cookie dough cupcakes from someone here in town last night and she keeps hinting that I should eat them. I'm doomed
I hope I get to Curt's weight at sometime too, probably won't even come close until next year sometime. I would also be an Ethiopian if I caught Turd, would likely be in the ICU, haha
On a lighter note, I did weigh in at 235 this morning
Turd I hope you get back in the grove- Running out of steam kinda sux- you feel quilt so you eat cupcakes to feel better which makes you feel guilty-- .
I had a guy at work trying to do keto but his wife keeps making mashed potatoes and gravy and pumpkin pancakes- hes gained 3 lbs.
its amazing how hard everybody else can make it on us dieters! i guess a lot of people really just don't know about the struggle lol

my wife made a really sugarry cheese pie desert yesterday lol, i really though to myself "well, this is it, i'm just going to give up right now" hahaha! i actually managed to only eat a couple pieces. i'm proud of myself lol

Weighed in at 203.5 this morning, if I behave myself I can lose nearly 1 lb per day by eating right, but then the weekend comes in, poof.. right back up to where I was.
I just wish the weeks were longer, (not really) so that I could lose more weight before the weekend, then the weekend wouldn't put me back up again as high.
Truly, if I would just do on weekend what I do during the week, I could be at, or near my goal. But in my head weekends are bonding time with the family, and eating time is bonding time at our house. The girls won't eat what I eat to try to lose weight, so then they will just go without food, and we don't get the family dinner time.
So I am at an off-road trip with allot of my buddies- and had tuna and carrots for lunch-- While they had huge sub sandwiches- chips- smores ect ect-- I did great all weekend. No beer or booze either (well a sip of some minty thing- but it was just a taste)
Good job Chad. I need to join the crowd and lose some weight. We attended the Mother Earth Fair this weekend and I attended a number of workshops including one on making bacon. Now the interesting take away from several speakers is the growing evidence that the American diet and obesity may be linked to the level of processed foods we eat. Those foods don't allow you to feel full or you continue with cravings because of the lack of nutrients the body craves so we eat more. I also know in my case I really need to build more physical activity into my life.
I really don't like the idea of a "diet" and all it implies. I'm hoping I can do better at eating whole foods and being more active physically.
that's the whole shebootle for me! I eat whole foods and stay active every day, its the only way i've been able to do it. Sunday is kind of a rest day, but i still take a walk or fiddle with stuff in the garage. And there are no "cheat days" or "cheat meals" for me either!!! It only sends my blood pressure up and makes me lazy for the next 2 days lol
This Morning I was sitting at 203.5, with hopes of breaking the 200 mark this week. I had one large meal over the weekend on Saturday, but it was HuHot buffet, so that stuff finds its way to the nearest exit from me pretty quick. Sunday I was a little over 207, but Sunday made quick work of losing the weight.
