Over weight is a predominant factor in our society. I'm part of the group and wonder why most of us have that problem. Too much fattening food and to little activity.
Got some exercise yesterday moving a wood stove :-) and walking around a junkyard (for a few hours) Weighed my self-- down another 2 lbs- and I ate a ton of Mexican food yesterday :-)
I got down to 203.5 this morning. Del and I even stopped in for some ice cream on the way home from Delphos. That's down 2 lbs from the day before, but two retirement bbq's were not scale friendly. I am still down to a record low that I haven't seen for a few years.
Just started mine, hit the exercise bike for 30 minutes and started my non-junk food and reduced portion meal eating scenario. Once it gets nice outside I'm planning on running in the wooded path next to our development. Start weight: 275, let's get to it!
Chad posted that hanky panky would burn as many calories as running for 5 miles, or something like that. It seems like that would be much easier to do than running.
Last night I ran on the treadmill for an hour. the first half mile, I ran in shoes, and the shoe was digging into my ankle, so I took the shoes off and started running in socks. The penny pincher part of me said "hey stupid, you are going to wear through the bottom of your socks!" So I took off my socks and ran for 2 miles, It wasn't long before I decided that this was a bad decision and put the socks and shoes back on. After my run, I determined I did a lot of damage to the skin on the bottom of my feet, and this morning I have deep painful blood blisters. Note to self. deal with shoe digging in to the ankle, and avoid more painful ouchies later on if possible.
