I prepare myself mentally for a small meal, I drive home, cook one single hot dog, put it on the plate, and force myself to imagine that eating this will make me content. Meanwhile my wife mentions,"there is corn, stuffing, and macarroni in the fridge"....
Dangit!!! maybe tomorrow.. right..
no... So I get home last night, thinking I will eat one of those frozen diet meals, and tell myself that that will make me content.. Syking my self up for it, because I hate those things. Wife says lets go out for dinner, where do you want to go? I mention Applebees, so I can get a salad. She says.. We haven't been to Famous Daves for a while, lets go there.. Well..... you can't order a salad at famous Daves and still consider yourself a man. Its a BBQ place.. Got to order BBQ!! So I orderd a rib tip sandwich, thinking it would be small, and I ordered steamed broccoli with it trying to eat something healthy. My wife...bless her heart.. says, "I got a coupon for a free appetizer, what do you want?" looking through appetizers, "well, how about?" (Julie) "No", (this went on for about two minutes) then finally we settled on their BBQ Nachos, she grabbed two chips out of it and slid the rest my way. "You can have the rest, it doesn't look like what I was expecting"
I think she does this on purpose so she doesn't have to give me my reward.
I weighed in at 191 this morning.
Curtis, Broccoli is one of those foods that takes more calories to burn than it gives you. A great food to help you lose weight. Cauliflower, cabbage, zucchini, and squash are good too. I have to say that we go out to eat sometimes more often than others. The key is to watch what and how much that you eat when you go out. And we always try to split the meal up to take some home before we eat it. I try to get lunch for the next day out of my meal. We try to stay away from deep-fried foods, and order the chicken, steak, or fish grilled with the vegetables instead. When we do Mexican, we usually order the chicken fajitas, and split the meal. We try not to order the sour cream, and watch how many chips we eat with the salsa (that's the hard part, because I love a good salsa). Then we take any leftovers home for my lunch the next day. It usually takes several days to a week to lose the extra pounds and get back to the beginning weight. Good luck.
Had to change the weight on my drivers license when I renewed it a couple weeks ago, now weighing in at 206
I changed mine too this year when I filled the paperwork out for my renewal, I am 40 pounds lighter now. Then they put all the same information right back on the new one, except for the new picture.

Here they are doing something so stupid, when you renew, you get a temp one printed on thermal paper, like a sales slip and the regular license is sent in the mail. What a joke that is

I guessing the printer required to make the drivers license is very expensive and not cost-efficient for each county to own one so the paper slip was probably the next best idea. Could you imagine how much more you'd have to spend just to get your license if all locations needed one of those printers? Cost would be insane
I'm back on the wagon, lost 5 lbs in the last 3 days, had my wife pick up a bunch of veggies, and I am curently 3 days without pop. got back up to 210, a few weeks ago and got back on the teadmill. Then about the middle of the week, the wife went shopping. she finally brought back proper food.
