I hit the gym for the first time in a while. Hit all the weight machines for a set of 20, arms, legs, abs, then did 30 minutes on the elliptical. This worked well the first time around, so I just need to stick with it. Gotta get in shape for the cruise next May.
194 this morning, not really sure why. Yesterday was stressful and I ate poorly, but somehow my weight was down.
I had a semi-rough day at work, then I locked myself out of my work van, then my team mate passed all of the calls from his file to mine at 3pm, and went home. It wouldn't have been that big of deal if I would have been able to get into my truck, but all in all, things worked out. I just got home late.
oh.. I wouldn't have had any trouble getting into the truck, I just didn't want to do any damage to it, if I could avoid it. and If I would have still had the pliers in my pocket that I had earlier in the day, I could have taken the antenna off and configured it to unlock the door, real easy. but my bare hands were not strong enough to unscrew it. The bank I was at, went to look for pliers or a wrench, but when i asked for a wrench, then lady said...."what's a wrench?" I new it was time to call someone else.
I figure I am 38 years old, and this is the first time ever i have locked myself out of something I had to call someone else to get me into, I suppose its time.
194 this morning, after an intense week. I haven't gotten to where I want to be, but I am enjoying being below 200 lbs. With starting the week at 194, and with as much activity as I have going on this week, I should be able to just fall into the 190 range by the end of the week, fairly easy. (hopfully)
Nice work! What methods have worked out best for you on your weight loss? I know my weight could use a little attention and was thinking of cutting out pop and any snacks outside of meals
191 this morning, Curtis. And you better keep up the good work.
82 Stepside,
I suggest drinking water instead of any sweetened or carbonated beverage. I would also say to limit snacks between meals. I also read that anything less than 1200 calories a day will trigger your body to go into starvation mode. So, I am trying to eat not much more than that. If you do a little research on foods that burn calories, like Broccoli, you could try eating more of them. I think it's called the Thrash or Thrush diet, can't remember. NO fried foods (except limited and use only pure virgin olive oil), NO processed foods, NO foods high in sodium, and eat more protein than carbs. I just went to the doctor and she said that I was 35 pounds less than six months ago. I could tell you more stuff if you are really interested, just pm me. Good luck.
