We are taking it in to get hot tanked, honed, and bored .30 over this week. I'm still trying to decide on a rotating assembly! It all depends on cost now because this build has broke my budget. I haven't even thought interior yet.
Pull valves and port the exhaust side. Keep a nice radius. The biggest concern is behind the valve seat. That's usually terrible. Those heads don't have hardened seats. You may want some bigger valves and hard seats put in. But tell the head guy to leave the exh valve out, so then you can blend the new seat into the runner.
Depending on hp desired the stock 2.09 intake is good for 450-475. I have one engine with mild cam and edelbrock preformer intake doing 460hp on stock valves.
Hey Snook,
I totally understand the "broke the budget" concept. We got tired of writing those checks before we got to the interior as well. We went with the rugged truck look - spray in bedliner on bed, running boards, interior ceiling & floor. It's nice & simple - clean rugged look & on the indestructible side - oh yea & cheap!
Definitely understand the cost issue. My Wofe decided she wanted to share in on my hobby so she bought a 63 continental for me to restore alongside my 56. I love her even more for wanting to share.
From your posts I'm guessing the brakes and spindles from no limit are a normal thing. I'm still waiting on mine. I actually got the, nice but before I opened the, Tina asked me to send them back because they neede pd a modification to work.
My Wheels are from Intro wheels. Style is the Twisted Vista.
I'm sure I'm going to have some fitment issues with the bed but we're considering making a wider custom bed and some tubs to fit the rear wheels.. I'm selling my M109r so I'm sure I'll be back on here posting like crazy soon.

Sacrificing the bike?! I often have the same thought, sell a bike and dump the money into my truck...but my girlfriend won't let me! "We had our first date on that bike..." I try to tell her about all he memories we could make in my truck, but it's not getting through...
I'm excited for your continued progress. Good luck!

Ouch, I run a 9R as well. Sad to hear your letting her go. I'd sell but seat time on her is far too good to take the hit. (She's got a good investment in goodies as well).
I agree. I love my bike its been modified to my liking so its going to be hard to let go. Sometimes its just the right thing. I promised my dad I would give her up. He never asks me for anything. Guess he's just too worried about me.
