The flame cut-outs in those arms looks pretty sweet!!!

When they are done a bunch of pics of the 4-link would very much be appreciated by me. If it's not too much trouble. Mine is in the mail, and more pics for reference are never a bad thing... Looking good.

The flame cutouts are part of the reason for the flamed steering wheel. I'm happy to take you some pics just PM me and we can talk about what angles and views you want. Most of them are going to be in my photobucket account already if you have some free time stop by you will prob find what you're looking for. Glad to hear you're getting your parts soon. It was so nice to have xmas all over again when my boxes came in.

Good news is the spindals should be here some time this week. That means I could potentially have the truck running in a few weeks. Bad news is i think I might need a new firewall and oilpan. Have any other memebers with an IFS like a MII or Custom put a BBF 429 or 460 in? If so what oil pan did you use? Can someone show me some of their big block motor mounts? Also if you have a C6 tranny how did you route your shift linkage? Thanks in advance for the tips and help gentlemen.

I have a 302 in my 54 with a MII IFS and because of the front crossmember I had to use a rear sump oil pan. I would assume the big block would be similar. There are Ford oil pans and then a ton of after market ones like Moroso, Summit, etc.

Independent Front Suspension. The two sets of A arms allow both sides of the front suspension to rise and fall on their own. If you hit a pot hole or bump on one side only that side moves not the entire suspension. Almost all modern vehicles utilize at minimum a IFS and more often now a days a IRS (Independent Rear Suspension).

Finally I got my spindles above.
Although I had some words with No Limit they took care of it. Their delays were caused by their parts suppliers not by any fault of their own. However with that said I'm still their customer and they did everything they could to keep me happy.

With that said I'm back on track. 1970 Mustang tank will be here today. Mounts for the 99 Tahoe split bench 2nd row seat should be finished this week. Steering wheel and column should be mounted this week. Suspension should be finished by Tuesday. Engine mounted by thursday. Front brake kit will be done by Wednesday. Found out my rear end has 3.50 gears but they are binding. So that will be pulled apart Thursday and entire drivetrain should be finished and mounted in the next 2 weeks.

Check list:
1.Drive Shaft 2.Electrical 3.Rear brake lines 4.Pull engine apart and get it running 5.Possibly a test drive. 6.Sell or salvage all of the OEM and spare parts

smokin!... now to make mine look like yours! (not coilovers tho)

where did you get the crossmember? I haven't seen any with the rear lower arm support like that.. all the newer ones I've seen have a small gusset welded in.

Thanks for the PM. That's looking pretty sweet!!! So much progress so quick. Gotta love it. If you could get a pic or two close up on those rear shock mounts I'd appreciate it. My 4-Link is setting in my garage. It has all shown up now. Gonna spend this weekend re-organizing the garage, and then I get to start on my suspension build too!!! The No Limit 4-Link definitely looks stouter then the Heidt's or TCI. I like what I see.

Lots of progress happens when you're paying for it... HAHA. I will get you those pics after the mounts were welded this afternoon or tomorrow. P.s. Did you check out my gallery on photobucket? It has a lot of the pics of my build already consolidated so you dont have to skim through the thread. Here is the link again.

Hey Snook,
Why is your Wide Ride from No Limit so much prettier than mine?
Looks nice! I must have forgotten to click that chrome box....
