My E99 has trans cooler in the radiator but it is a 6 speed, I guess that makes the difference?

Hate to say it but the last time I saw a pic of that goo was of an engine with a cracked block, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. There is even a thread on another site trying to track serial numbers for a certain type of block cracking on 7.3s. LINK

Not sure yet . We are leaning towards a cavitation issue or a repair behind the water pump that let go . Not sure yet . Should know soon .Hopefully tomorrow

i hope its the behind the water pump one. that should be allot easier to fix, i think the other might end the block or have to resleave it.
Mechanic just called and said the motor has to come out.
I'm down to a front cover or cracked block
