Ok Thanks
It started and ran a little rough . I shut it off ,started and ran it for a minute or so shut it down .Started it again and it smoothed out. Gonna start it again in 5 minutes and let it run . Sounds like normal
dude, it's been almost 10 minutes...wheres our update? I mean gosh in this age of instant information you should for the consideration all of us strangers have a webcam on your head and be doing a running commentary, or at the last updating your Facebook every 2 minutes with your mood, relationship status and the progress of the repair in addition to "tweeting" a play by play of the repair.
sorry, I am in a "funny" mood this morning, guess it's a Friday thing. Hope things are turning out well for you!!
I recently tried to do the flush and fill on my truck but could not remove the block plugs. I ended up flushing with more water flushes to try and compensate for the coolant that I could not drain from the block. That being said, when I filled back up all I got in was about 5 gallons, leading me to believe the block holds about 3 gallons of coolant. So unless you drained the block your experience and coolant requirements pretty much mirror my experince not draining the block. HTH.

After I shut it off . The tank drained some and then the pic above .
Now What ?? . Do I pull the water pump ? Should I just pull the motor ?
No leaks anywhere . Nothing .
Could that be from the oil left in the engine? I would put pressure on the coolant cap 15-17lbs & see if it leaks down. Do you think you might have torn one of the o-rings putting it back together. IDK just thinking out loud.
