yea but im not at sea im on a freshwater lake that i can see both sides off.....

I'm saying in general, the reason for the foam. I'm 9 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and sometimes go 10-20 miles off the coast. I'm staying with the foam injected hull if it's ever capsized.

The foam makes sense (and is requred by regulation) but my point was that if its rotten to the core and already saturated with water, it won't do you much good anyway. I know ours would have never floated if it capsized with that slush in there....

yep it actually has a negative effect by adding more weight at that point.... so i removed every bit of it i could.....

30,000 total on the trailer give or take a a couple hundred



bottem pic is with the feet down and a jack under the rear axle to help take some of the weight

Its a rare day when you see and IDI that is sagging like that, holy crap that is a lot of weight, care to let me use that trailer XD XD.

ZF-5 or a Wide Range T-19/18 would do it too. BUT my question is, where are you located Coalroller?

yeah needed the low range had if 4-lo when i left the shop the trailer was so heavy that the rear of the it was dragging on the black top haha

Not IDI, but most of my IDI resto parts are sitting in this trailer, witch weighs 2600lbs empty, and loaded like it was, defenently over 4500lbs!

Thats a good load for a stock half ton







Axle was 1.5" from the bump stops!
