my 94 has a similar set-up to the firestone set up, it has a "timbren" set up on the front and rear, along with 7 rear leafs plus the helper, and 3 leafs up front. LOL needless to say it's "capacity" is....... let's just say i've hauled way more than i'm legally allowed. pete
yeah i didn't get caught so it's all good!! f250hd, you just had to remind me about hitting bumps didn't you!!LOL it's terrible but damn that truck will haul some serious weight!!
so much for that, i had a pic of my 94 with equip. trailer with a utility loader tractor on it and this site of goofy for loading pics. not sure how all you guys loaded yours. pete
I think he's saying the mount for the hitch doesn't allow room to mount airbag brackets to the frame. A little fabrication though, and you can bag anything.
I've got three 7.3 IDI long-blocks and some other parts in my bed right now, I'm estimating 2500+ in the bed, she's squatting a little bit but with a 460 you can barely feel them back there. pics in my album
Not bad for my first load in my first full size truck.
Gutting a finished basement, loaded almost all the 70s **** carpet and the entire drop ceiling. The weight won't impress anyone here but filled to near the top of the cap this load filled a 6 yard dumpster to 2/3 full plus. I was surprised.
(bear in mind my prior trucks have been a Mazda rotary pickup (miss that lil thing, it was a riot) and a Bronco (miss that too even though it's still in the yard).
This is not super heavy, but I pulled it over 1100 miles. I ran about 70 the entire time and topped 80 a few times headed down hill. Truck did excellent. The bike is an 07 Shadow Spirit 1100 and the car is an 03 impala
The truck was loaded in these pics on my trip. Here it is doing 75

Not the greatest photo. This is with a bed load of dirt to the top of the bed. It does not look bad but there is quite a bid of sag there. Noticable as soon as you sit in it and drive it.
heres my little load for the summer. just came back from our local tractor show.
my '46 'M' and '63 Cub Cadet 'Original' unloading at the show
and the Family Picture when we brought it all home
the 'H' on the trailer is my best friends, he had to work so i hauled it home for him. the ol idi didnt even know it was there
