oero toing with 46 isnt realy resionable and the zbar dude Scary Steering!
wow joe that's one hell of a thread...... some pretty funny setups but im not a fan of the guy who made the thread all he does is b@tch about the way people come up with ways to lift trucks.... now im sure most of those trucks are toys and don't go on the roads.... im sure some do go on the roads and those fellas aint to bright if they do go down the road.... i know almost all of them won't pass any kind of safety inspection thus could never be licensed and insured.... however id fab up something like that to mess around with on the farm just for fun..... nothing wrong with that.... i overbuild everything i build so im sure it would never break.....
oh and oreo's truck can tow.....its very possible to build your own hitch.... which can very easily be stronger than one bought at the store....
I'm a whole lot more worried about something on your truck breaking and killing somebody then a tri axle trailer thats a little over on every axle.
I really don't think you should even tow the way yours is set up.
really? ive towed with my 35s, 37's and 42's. done it with 2 cars with the 46's and havent skipped a beat. what do you expect to break on my truck? lol... axle snaps, its still full float so everything stays where it is.

i see joe has been on obn checking the shackle reversal thread with that link. and you cant compare my z bar with anything on any of those pages. and funny how you think its an issue all of a sudden, not to mention factory has a thinner bar that also has a 45 degree bend in it, weaker ends too. and a high steer kit still requires a z bar.
i been reading in to zbars cause i was going to make one for my d60 swap itay have been what i read but them tend to break at the end but will just have to see u know
This is my rig loaded up with 5 logs, the tranny dumped all the fluid on this pull but this was before the turbo. How much do you guys think it weighs?? 5 logs: 3 oak, 12 ft long 18" to 12" and 2 pine 20 ft, 15" to 12". The flat is 16 ft. and over built weighing 2,500. I was thinking the rig was about ranging from 8-10K (minus truck obviously). What do ya'll think??

first, its .250 wall 1 1/2 dom tube, i doubt it will break. and dont forget, i basically have full hydraulic steering. the z bar is just there for legality reasons. ive got a 2" hydraulic ram doing all of the work.
