they just sit there doing nothing when the trucks empty.
though, with 3 of them and my heavy bed, they do kinda rest on the mounts a bit.this helped my dump ram arm from smacking my rear axle over bumps though lol.
his wouldn't touch until loaded with the stock bed if he just added one or two more i doubt.can always get 'em arched down a bit if needed i suppose.
Not 100% sure im waiting on the weight specs for the tractor... They told me at the tractor dealer it was right around the 12k mark but im not sure. When i get the numbers ill post them up for ya
Thanks man!
Thanks brother! i know you have some nice trailers, tractors yourself and a beautiful rig as well!
My 9600 stripped for pulling is 12,500, I'm betting with that loader FWA and possibly fluid in the tires you are closer to 14k then 12k.
Not near max capacity but still a good workout for the IDI. I dragged home my 300SD back when my F250 was N/A with a stock exhaust 2.5" straight pipe exiting out behind the cab. The pictures are OK but the video talks!!!
Notice the stance of my truck. I have seen other brands of trucks carrying half the load and the rear wheels are damn near rubbing on the fender wells. Not to mention in the video, I didn't push the truck much past half throttle because I didn't want to lose the 300SD or burn too much fuel.
wow David.that's some serious combined gross, like stated w/4.10's & 37's putting her actual gearing back upwards of 3.55's.
just take 'er easy starting out to keep the drive shaft from twisting up like a pretzel lol.
wise man dropping her down into low range starting out on a steep hill.
if you double or triple up your overloads, she'll maintain her steering much better for ya.
nice looking combo.
thats actually the plan... Id like to get a stack about 4 or 5 thick, I only have the 1 in there now. Yeah low range helped make the difference and makes it easier on the truck
Thanks again!

Air bags on a hitch? They sit on top of your spring packs and mount to the frame with brackets....
I think he's saying the mount for the hitch doesn't allow room to mount airbag brackets to the frame. A little fabrication though, and you can bag anything.

those f-stones seem like a REALLY good price. of course you would need to get a compressor, which would then require you to get some train horns but i would not complain.
my 94 has a similar set-up to the firestone set up, it has a "timbren" set up on the front and rear, along with 7 rear leafs plus the helper, and 3 leafs up front. LOL needless to say it's "capacity" is....... let's just say i've hauled way more than i'm legally allowed. pete
