My truck is sitting because the tuner I was running had 45-47* of timing in my daily driving tunes... Which blew the block...
Being a down economy I did not have the money to buy ANOTHER short block so I found a used motor on CL, and it ran good...
But I did not replace the injector cups and now it has fuel in the coolant. I will get it fixed when I have the cash to do it... Nice thing is, I will more then likely never have to pull the motor again, I switched to a tuner who runs a max of about 38* timing...

Yeah you should get a couple million miles out of that one because lord knows that tuner will keep the internals of that motor running forever. I hate to say it but eventually that motor will go too, THEY ALL DO. Some sooner than others and for many reasons.

My wife met him in person at the first smoken... That was enough.
Those words right there are a personal attack against Jody ! Are you saying that you are a much better person than him and you and your wife are to cool to talk to him ever again ????? ENOUGH ! Take it else where.. This is the best forum on the net and all of us seem to be a big family on here... This is the first thread I've ever seen on this forum that has this kind of BS in it ! Keep going Joe...... Let see if one of the moderators has the ***** to delete this thread like it should be !

So I am not allowed to post what my experances with DP tuner have been?
But you can post how great yours have been?
Just trying to figure out where your boundrys are, I want to make sure I keep this on the up and up...

I would expect this one to go about 80-90k at the HP level it will see everyday... It already has 130k on it from what I was told... Its out of a 97 party bus, so lets just hope they did not party while driving the bus...LOL
Point is, if you can change a small thing, and keep the motor intact, would you not?

Yes I would, but I have yet to see that PROVEN. I mean you evidently had someone (Bill) check out your chip. How about sending your chip back to Jody to see if he gets the same thing. Maybe one of them has a problem with there software and they could team up and save a lot of motors. It would be nice for all the tuners to have a look at all the data make some executive decisions and make better things happen rather than just one guy controlling all the data. Why wouldn't Bill if he is this stand up guy like you say, call Jody and let him now what he found instead of spreading Sh** around about his tunes to truck owners. Sounds like someone wants more business instead of fixing the problem, that is if there is a problem. Just my opinion.
