I'll say it again. SOMETHING is different. I invite everyone look at the information out there and make up their own mind. I'm VERY anxious to see what Bill & Corey have compiled. However, it's been delayed, and now it looks like it might take even longer. Corey lost her 38 year old sister to Cancer and other complications. Very sad...
Your right, 45* of advanced timing will not kill a diesel motor...
nope, just not possable to have a stock long block hold up to Nitrous and 650+ hp... Cant do it, have to have billet rods and a filled block...
Wait... You can... Just have to change your tunnnnner...
I was just wondering, is your truck running now?
I find it interesting when I see someone install a motor with problems and excessive blowby, installs a tuner, and then blames the tuner when the engine goes.
I respect most all advice you give and you know way more than I do. And I hope to meet you one day, but the DP bashing is getting old. Well I said it, most everyone else is thinking it. I'm positive there are windowed blocks and holed pistons out there that were running other tunes. My flame suit is on, but no matter, I've said my peace.
It's okay. We dont expect everyone to like how I tune. All we ask of you guys is that we are given the opportunity to make it right. Yes, then if I can't satisfy their tuning needs then by all means try and find someone who can.
I've been working on my new tuning software for 4 months. It's killer and it has allowed me to find so many things now that I've tried to find in the past. My next live tuning trip is Feb. 4 and I can't wait to use it on the guys there.

Jody, I am happy with my tunes and will be live tuning both of my 7.3s this year. Just have to coordinate times. Look forward to the new software.
One other thing, I am curious about is the compilation of info on "windowed" engines. I don't know Bill and Corey but don't they have a dog in this fight????

BTW- Please explain to me how we can change your oil temps via tuning. That one throws me......

That's the part that throws you? I'm still trying to figure out the quote below. Apparently Bill has figured out a way with his tuning to make a hand shaker shift like stock

I know theres alot of powerhouse diesel trucks out there that can take more abuse than mine, that being said,if i'm trying to launch an #8000 truck off the line(like at RRE....),like its a Camaro or something, and something breaks, blows,or whatever,I take that blame. It's an#8000 truck,I knew I shouldn't do it,but I chose to,thats not Jody/DP Tuners fault..thats mine.Keith touched on a good point, are guys putting a tuner on a truck with excessive blowby,ticking/knocking,umpteen whatever badly serviced miles on it,then start pointing a finger when it lets go?
Do you have any idea what the stock timing is on every single stock 7.3l calibration?

Some peeps seem to just talk out their a$$es Jody...and the oil temps...more power+more pressure on the go pedal+more fuel=higher oil temps, but, not the tuners fault...that one would fall on the lead footed driver...lol

When we all get to RRE, and there's another speed barrell and trips to the dragstrip and all the haters can't keep up...make sure somebody brings a bunch of towels for the whiners, and plenty of water for the jaw dropped dry mouths when they see what some of our members trucks can really do...
