No more chips for me. Wow, All I was trying to do was sell my chip,,,,,,,lol
I loved my dp. I got great fuel mileage with it. Night and day from stock and the tow tune worked great. Holy smokes what a post I created. sorry guys. lol If anyone wants a chip my advice would be never go over 50 horse with it unless you are gonna use it as a pull truck and have and endless supply to money. But, not just chips or tuners. Any motor gas or diesel when you add horsepower you lose longevity and dependability.
I still haven't got one just because of the occasional problems I hear of. I keep wanting one though mainly for mpg increase. I'd like to hear details of your decision though.
To each his own. Most have no problems. Remember most people will only post on forums when they have problems. The 6.0 powerstrokes are the ones that have problems with head studs. 7.3s do well. But you need to be sensible when chipping your truck. I see alot of guys chipping there truck and beating the snot out of it. Of course you will have problems. Its a truck not a vette!! Lol

yeah, I realized that my truck was not a good candidate for extra power.
I've never had any problems with mine. When i first got it, it shifted like a truck was rear ending me, but I sent it back to get a little line pressure taken out and it worked fine. But it was even better when I got it live tuned!

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
To be fair, I don't think Matt or Bean has had a break yet and Bill has one (as of the last time I saw it discussed)
I find it very hard to believe that no one has windowed a block or holed a piston running any of those tunes. It happens to stock non-tuned engines. And if I'm wrong, then I stand corrected.
