Hellfire shall rain down on you if you ever call into question the great mind of Jody Tipton...

If you dont like the questions I am asking, then present something that makes since in rebutle... So far I have people saying that if jody thinks 45* of timing is ok, then it must be ok, and jody saying that he doesnt run 45* of timing ever...
Drama much? When someone BREAKS YOUR ARGUMENT and proves with your own words that you actually ARE doing what you purport NOT to be doing, you immediately run out with the sarcasm. No one says it's not okay to question. What many are saying isn't okay is the manner in which you are framing the questions. You ARE saying that because of an amount of timing that you say is there in ANOTHER PERSONS truck, Jody isn't a safe tuner. Am I misrepresenting anything with that statement? I don't think you are here to have a discussion so much as you are here to tell everyone that Jody doesn't have safe tunes and that it contributed to the demise of your engine because of too much timing . AM I misrepresenting anything in that statement?Jody pointed out that he looked at the timing tables that Ford uses that call for 45* of timing and that he thinks in that instance it's too much given all of the other data available, and that he actually pulls timing out for that particular application, and yet you assert that because of that one graph you make a blanket statement that he uses unsafe levels of timing.

Ask the important questions... Timing is what kills these motors at subpar HP levels.
So just to recap, you came into this and MANY other threads to point out that Jody uses too much timing and that timing kills these motors in sub-par HP levels, and that you talked with Jody on the phone and your wife met him and that was "enough" for you to make an informed decision to NOT call him in person and talk to him and tell him your concerns about the level of timing he MAY have put in your tunes, (because again, you posted timing graphs for other peoples trucks) a courtesy I see that you DID give the guy who built your short block with all the blowby, but you are satisfied with the engine builders explanation, but you aren't blaming Jody for your engine's misfortunes, right? Am I following you correctly now? You DON"T hold Jody accountable for your piston's being burnt by too much timing, even though you should have had as you stated " retarded retarded" timing because you were using water/meth injection? Am I on the same page with you at this point?

I'm doing no such thing, and I apologize if it was taken that way. I'm just interested in the discussion and try to ask questions that help further it. I'm also getting tired of personal attacks on each other. I'm not here to attack Jody or Joe or anybody. All I want to see are more facts, one way or the other, instead of just the claims being made (Jody is excluded from that comment).

So is Ford tuning flawed too? Unless it was designed to do that and I'm missing something? I'm not making any claims one way or the other, don't get me wrong. People are saying there are no facts being presented so this whole discussion should be dismissed. But graphs, tables and pictures show otherwise. If factory Ford tuning creates the burn patterns at the edge of the pistons, does that mean it's okay or they need better engineers? These are honest questions, not sarcastic.

I can't rep half the people I want to in this thread, lmao.
Its the "rep police" or the "rep gods".

Our reputation system limits the number of people you can rep (i.e. you must rep X number of people before repping that person again).
The idea is that hopefully it makes the system "fairer" and it means you can't get your buddies to rep you all the time just because you are friends (although that would be nice )
