If I spent a huge number of many miles behind the wheel, and not next to it while idling, sure... If I made my LIVING with it, and needed to squeeze every penny from it for the "long haul", sure.
But I don't. And many other people do not.
Now, I just wish everyone with a different point of view in this thread would GET THAT THROUGH THEIR HEADS and stop with the veiled insults, maybe I could leave this thread open. Contrarywise, I wish the gassers would stop with the veiled insults and let it go.
But I fear that won't happen

I can honestly say that I never drove one with the LSD Diesel, but the ULSD Diesel really doesn't stink... at all, no worse than a gas engine does. I think the exhaust on my 97 subaru smells WAY worse. 
The new diesel doesn't stink anymore.... yet the mentality has left a stench in peoples minds.
(Don't get me wrong, REARELY I get behind a big rig that DOES sting... but I'm talking in Pickups.)

First, don't tell me to calm down, that'll get this thread closed even faster.
That and the smell is exactly why I did NOT get one. I always go for the most powerful engine option in any vehicle. But this is one case where I made an exception.

So when you think we are being childish you can tell us to calm down but when we think you are we can't tell you? Wow dictator much? You know on regular radio and no I'm not talking about XM or sirus radio just regular FM and AM stations, you here them call each other and callers name and the callers call the show host names. As long as it's not cuss words or using homosexual slurs what does it matter. You say this is a family friendly website which is fine. But I guaranteed you normal families in the US uses the words idiot, stupid, etc. You sent me a PM and gave me some kind of warning of being ban using the word idiot to someone. Come on we are all adults here and using little words like that should be allowed without getting warnings of being ban. When cuss words are being thrown out that is a different story but calling someone stupid or they are an idiot should be allowed. Are we in kindergarten here and be put in timeout for name calling? Sounds like you are the one that needs to grow up. Ban me for this if you want but I'm just voicing my opinion which last time I look I can. But if you do ban me all you are proving is you are hitler and this website is a dictatorship.
Now go sit in the corner, think about what you did, and when you apoligize you can have your applejuice.

The fact is this should have been closed down about 800 or so pages ago. It has jumped the shark and certainly there are no more valid points or opinions that can be expressed here right? Every aspect of the PSD vs V10 have been covered, there is nothing left but criticism and good fun. If fun isn't allowed around here then yes I agree close the thread.
